Just kidding! At which point is it sane!?
Went all in in this DIY Les Paul! Spent ages to carve the top. Love the flamed mahogany back, and love the flamy top! Faber hardware, abr1 studs in the wood, tortoise fret side dots, Crazy brass shaft tuners and custom pickups. Couldn't afford a custom shop so I made my own! Neck is 60 slim. Was feary of doing a burst with spray can, but I think it turned out well! Finish is pretty thin, but I used like 6 cans!
From Thelaststep shop, got my size, reduced price, god be damned I love this shoe! Very clean in person, never seen before personally, love the color way.
Cop for 169€ ic.tax in France. Good times.
Yeah I couldn't help myself and I stead of keeping my wallet fat I had to cop these!
Love it, it requires almost as much power as my full size Audeze LCD3 headphones.
Here are some eq parameters, it sounds better than Sennheiser HD650! LCD3 still is ahead but not far away!
Eq1:Band pass - 20Hz Q4.4 gain 4.7
Eq2: Low shelf - 105Hz Q1.0 gain 2.5
Eq3: Band pass - 260Hz Q1.1 gain 3.7
Eq4: Band pass - 1020Hz Q1.6 gain (-5.1)
Eq5: Band pass - 2060Hz Q1.9 gain (-6.9)
Eq6: Band pass - 3520Hz Q2.78 gain (-9.4)
Eq7: High shelf - 11500hz Q0.39 gain 2.6
This IEM sounds so big, to the extent it sounds like a full size headphones top of the line!
Default tuning can be very shouty, but once EQd it's truly magnificent!
I listen to music very loud, I like this Septet sounds modern and detailed, fast with incredible bass.
The new LOATHE released songs sounds great by the way!
Ibasso DC Elite or a powerful DAC amp is mandatory with Septet.
Finished it, now need to level the frets and it's done! One of my dream spec'd axe right there!
Trying to decrypt guitar of the song Fly by Adrian Belew.
Tuning is lower cause my voice is pretty bad now.
Should be in D A D D E F ( but you don't play the 2 smaller strings). Bear with the voice please.
Can't buy the new PB SG but got to make my own LPS DC!
Wanted to share my progress of open pore LPS DC aged pelham blue with staple alnico V and P90 build, with stinger of course!
Very impressed, just got it today, now a lot of exiting listening session ahead!
X9U w/DC elite DAC & LCD3/HD650 headphones. Using Poweramp EQ app. (Photo taken with X8U master mode)
I prepare the mahogany with 150, 400 and 1000 grit. Then I applied a clear sanding sealer. Then I applied pelham blue to fully cover. After two days of drying I applied some coats of amber yellow clear coat. And that is where I am. When dried it should show all the grain and wood crevasses.
I want to make sure I don't mess up the next steps!
My plan is to let it dry 1 week. No sanding, then apply dark grey grain filler and try to clean it without sanding, just a cloth and water. And repeat if needed. There are still specs from the blue that I didn't sanded.
After all is dried, maybe 2 days I want to wet sand with 1000 lightly where there are dusts and specs, and finally wet sand lightly at 2000.
Then I want to spray the final clear.
Sound OK to you all? Anyone tried a TV pelham or TV gold before?
Shot on X7U. Big improvement, raw shooting is so much faster. Screen is way better. Will test camera more but it's very promising! Already loved the X7U for it's photography ability, now let's see how the X9U holds up to it.
By the way bought the new Enco Clips 2 and I love them! It's less loud than the Enco 3 but it's so comfortable while still having a very hifi sound. Impressive!
