Have you ever got a reading that was so accurate it scared you. The reader knew so many things they shouldn’t ever be able to know?

I recently bought about 3 $8 Tarot readings from a single shop on Etsy. I went into it with a lot of caution because I know fast, cheap readers don’t exactly have the best reputation in the spiritual community.

When I ordered, I gave her my name, my ex’s name, our birthdays, and a very brief 5-sentence backstory. She delivered a really amazing, incredibly long reading. She even mentioned a few specific things that resonated perfectly with what my ex told me when we originally broke up.

Fast forward to yesterday: I had lunch with my ex after weeks of no contact and a really horrible, spiteful break up. I ended up reading the Etsy reading out loud to him. He was completely amazed by how spot-on she was, especially considering I hadn't given her much info at all. He even told me I need to go leave her a 5-star review.

know people usually warn against these types of shops, so it got me wondering—has anyone else had surprisingly great experiences with cheap, Same-Hour Tarot readers on Etsy? Or did I just luck out and find a hidden gem?

Anyone have experience with her?

Then proceeds to communicate as herself with zero explanation as to why the eff she has a site with Sebastian’s name. Also won’t provide a refund once called out for it. Scam 100x. Her name is Mariam Elat.

Hi, I purchased a spell from unblockhisheart.com and provided the info requested for the spell. The caster goes by Lady Elara. She’s been following up and I give her updates but I just noticed that the website doesn’t exist anymore and now I’m scared I’m going to be scammed somehow.

If you’ve purchased a spell there, can you share your experience please?

This is going to be a bit short, So I was looking for tarot readers on etsy bc I wanted some clarity on a situation right now and I went through my etsy messages bc I knew that I had bought some in the past. Last year I had asked her in March if I was going to meet someone and when, then she replied to me and said I was going to meet a temporary karmic partner in May of that year. I didn’t realize until this year that she was right, May of that year I had met my ex boyfriend and instantly it was intense, she was definitely right by temporary me and him only lasted 2 months but at least she was right 🤷‍♀️. She doesn’t give very detailed readings but she is accurate and affordable, I went and bought my reading from her again, looking forward to what she has to say.

This might be a rant but I’ve tried a couple of readers and casters on Reddit for my SP. Separation, reconciliation, etc.

I tried mostly the well-known ones or at least who seem like knowledgeable ones. I spent time reading the reviews, their comments, interactions with people on respective subs. I put my trust in the people I worked so I provided any information they asked. I believed the work was done.

But seeing the posts about getting blackmailed by their “casters” got me scared because my previous practitioner asked where my SP lives and their mother’s name to boost the spells. Then completely ghosted me I updated them about the spells not working though they appear to be extremely active on this sub (it was only twice throughout the months, i never spam them). Now I’m genuinely worried if they’re gonna blackmail me even though I only worked with them for reconciliation and nothing crazy.

Another one is my (now previous) goto reader. I saw their comments self-promoting about their accuracy from their alter account as a client constantly. Seeing those made me question their practice and think it’s a delusion all along.

I finally gave up on the situation and decided to move forward with my life. But, man, what a waste of money.

I hope y’all find your true casters and reach your goals.

The main pattern here is everyone's a scammer, even the good ones turn out to be scammers, and then we start thinking is magic even a thing?

Here's what we're missing though.

We don't have all the data.

What if we created an echo chamber and got stuck in it?

Think about it, if 100 people go to one witch maybe 80 are fine with their results and just move on with their lives. But 20 have problems and come here to complain. What do we see? Those 20 complaint posts. What don't we see? The 80 people who got what they needed and left. Then another 20 complain about a different witch and suddenly this entire sub looks like nobody ever gets results from anything ever.

As soon as someone gets reviewed here we all rush to book them. Someone who had 10 clients a month suddenly has 50 and gets completely overwhelmed. We book without caring if our situation is even workable or how complicated it actually is. We forget that what works for one may not work for all 100 others. We don't follow guidance, we stay negative and anxious, and then when nothing happens we're back here posting complaints. Then we read more complaints and convince ourselves magic isn't real. We forget everyone who's silent because they actually got results. We forget all the practitioners who aren't even known here.

Maybe we're still stuck here going from one to the next because we refuse to admit our situation might be impossible or that we're blocking our own results. What I actually think and have seen in myself is that we might be the group that's too anxious, too negative, unable to let things happen naturally.

I don't know if it resonates because for me it does. I did think that and became aggressive here and thought everything is a lie and then got in a rabbit hole and spoke to real witches and even witch matchmakers which I never thought existed and it opened my eyes so much. I saw real messages from people happy with results which we almost never see here. I saw the other side that considers this place the negative minority. That makes fun of people here. One person I spoke to said they would hate to be positively reviewed here that it would bring them more issues long term. I spoke to another who refuses people if they say they are from this space also stating similar reasons because people here are usually in impossible scenarios and have wild expectations and are easy to call a scam without considering any other possibilities.

Another thing worth noting, speaking to many witches most agree that each one would have a specialty almost like a gift. Some will be better for money, some better for exes, some better for crushes and even more in the macros. Another thing most agree it's like chemistry, you and your witch should have something compatible, you can't hire someone you have nothing in common with and can't feel good about. We don't consider that. We just go to whoever was posted about last with whatever situation we have.

I'm not defending scammers let's be clear in fact I have a second post on how this same metric is used by scams and I have analysed many from the past of this sub that I like to share with you.

I am also not posting this to recommend or name anyone positive or negative. I just want to spark a conversation and some introspection maybe. If I can recommend anything it's to do your due diligence and to remember there is more to life than this subreddit for positive and negative.

I found this spellcaster (bl3ssedbyme on Instagram) through a Reddit review and decided to trust her. I have to say she was very kind, supportive, and consistently available, and she guided me through everything without making me feel uncomfortable.

About a week after the spell was done, my ex started texting and calling me again, after 2 months of no contact. At first the messages were short, but then they became more and more frequent.
The most important thing is that next week he has decided to come see me in person, so for me this is already a huge step compared to zero contact.

In addition to this, I also had a tarot reading done with her, a general love reading. And honestly it left me speechless because she picked up on dynamics and situations related even to past relationships without me giving any specific details.

I’m not trying to convince anyone, I’m just sharing what I’m experiencing. For now, I can say that the situation is developing in a very positive way.
