Processing for 4 hours?
Okay, so..I have two items sitting at processing for 4 hours now.
Is it an issue with me or are other folks experiencing this?

Vinted was having problems earlier and it logged me out of my account. When I tried to log back in, it kept saying my password was incorrect. I tried requesting a password reset email several times, but I never received anything—even after checking spam, junk, and basically every folder in my email.
I reached out to Vinted support and got an automated response telling me to try logging in with Google because I might not have a password associated with my account. I think that may actually have been the case. However, when I tried logging in with Google, it ended up creating a completely new Vinted account using the same email address.
Now I’m stuck because I have both purchases and sales currently in transit, and I really need access to my original account in case anything goes wrong with one of the orders.
I’ve contacted customer service again, but I haven’t heard back. Everything I’m reading on the Vinted subreddit is making me nervous because everyone seems to say that Vinted customer support is basically nonexistent. 😩
Has anyone experienced something similar and managed to get their original account back? Any tips would be VERY appreciated!
when I try to log in it shows this.
EDIT: I’m able to log back in and Vinted is back up!
Over the last couple of months I've made several sales on Vinted to UK buyers. They've been generally okay - they take about a month to arrive so you don't get your payout for awhile but so far it's worked out fine. All of the orders seem to arrive to some kind of post office or package pickup center where the buyer has to retrieve their parcel. I sold an item over a month ago, it finally made it to the pickup center, and...crickets from the buyer. They haven't picked up their package and are not responding to my messages either. I reached out to Vinted, they said that after 21 days the package will get sent back to me. This policy is ridiculous in my opinion. Item takes a month to transit to the UK, sits at a post office for three weeks, then takes another month to come back to me. So after all is said and done my item will have been out of my hands and off the market for about 3 months for no sale. It's also so wasteful, we really shipped this thing around the globe twice for nothing? Just frustrating.
I’m becoming increasingly convinced that Vinted does not employ a single human being.
Not one.
Just three chatbots in a trench coat, endlessly asking for screenshots, closing tickets after 48 hours, and signing emails with “Kind regards.”
At this point, if an actual Vinted employee sees this post, please blink twice. I just want proof of life. 😂
I don't have the original purchase receipt and it was old from my mother so honestly I have no idea what metal it is. The buyer informed me they have an allergy and I said it may not be for you then but they purchased anyway.
Is it ok to delete and relist on Vinted.
So I recently started selling items on Vinted. My very first order I printed out the label and selected pickup. It automatically made a pickup request. It gave me the option to make it to where they knock on the door so I did that. They passed by and I was waiting around the time they usually pass by but they didn't knock. I got the email saying it got picked up when they didn't actually pick it up. The next day I caught the mail truck passing by. I had also made a pickup request and all was good. They took it.
A couple days went by where I would get orders picked up. If I could fit them in the mailbox I would do that. But recently for the past week I've had 5+ orders every day and they all don't fit in the mailbox. They gave me a bin so I leave them outside and the pickup request also lets me choose front door. I do that sometimes. I'll have 3 orders or something by 2am and after 2am it won't let me adjust the amount of packages for the package pickup. But I've caught them passing by 6 out of the 8 times I've had packages that didn't fit. So I always walk it to the mail truck or wait by the mailbox and hand it to them label up to make it easier for them to scan when I can. I see them pass down the street and go out there.
No problems at all until today. Dude was shaking his head no and says "again." I thought the pickup request was fine to use like that. Am I using it wrong? Am I requesting too much? Every time all the packages fit in the bin they gave me.
Dude goes "we have customers coming in with 100 packages a week." The only reason I don't go up to the post office is I don't personally have a car or a driver's license. My brother does but I just don't want to be a burden to him and ask for a ride to the post office every day. If I wait a few days to ship people start to complain about slow shipping and leaving bad reviews. What do y'all think?
I just signed up for Vinted and my profile seems to be doing well. Did anyone experience a lot of traffic at first but then it started to slow down? Asking so I’m not blindsided. Thx!
I sold 4 items to a buyer and vinted emailed me a label that is for 1lb (15.9oz). The total weight of the items is over 1lb. I'm planning on shipping the package anyways since their customer service is non-existent. Does Vinted cover the difference? I don't usually have problems with shipping weights so just want to make sure I'm not going to get charged or have the package returned to me or USPS try to collect from the buyer. Thanks!
I’m seeing so many more listings lately using bad AI images to display their clothes. Not only will I immediately not buy it because it’s not an accurate representation of the fit of the clothing, but I will report it. Maybe this is petty but I really liked that Vinted requires using actual photos of the products instead of screenshots from the web.
Is anyone else having trouble with Vinted? On the home page pictures of listings are not showing up, I leave the app and come back and it’s still the same. I’m kinda scared that it’s the app telling me I’m about to get banned lol. Someone let me know if yours is the same or what could be wrong.
So I’m newer to Vinted. I’ve had a few seem less sales and such. But today I got messaged by someone wanting a higher ticket item. They lowballed of course I politely declined they came back with 2 other offers after asking me my lowest which I stated along with my reasoning for my price. Cool right? No. I have been harassed all day long by this person. First begging me to take lower then my lowest and now telling me over and over to send them an offer because it won’t let them send me an offer. I have this awful feeling this person will scam me if I sell to them. I’ve read horror stories of people selling items on Vinted and buyers lying to get the item for free and then the seller getting screwed out of their item and compensation. I feel bad that I’m skeptical. I went to work and told them I was working and they’ve messaged over and over my whole shift. I don’t want to be mean but I don’t think I want to sell to them anymore after this. It just feels off. Am I crazy?
Does this actually work? I get messages like this from time to time and people are crazy, but like are there sellers that cave for this?
Can 2 people at the same address have separate selling accounts?
New to Vinted. I have a lot of stuff on my Poshmark account that has been listed forever and just doesn't make sense to drop the price any lower with the fees they charge, I figure Vinted might be a better place for these low priced items.
I don't get it, haven't sold a thing yet and it's been a week. I've had a few items I got offers on, 2 I accepted the buyers offer yet no one made a purchase. Is this normal for the platform? Other than paying for boosts what do I need to do to get going?
I only have about 25 items listed so far so not sure if that's the reason or not. I'm still getting used to the pricing suggestions, it takes some getting used to.
Update: Took some of ya'll suggestions and went through a bunch of holiday/household items I was getting ready to drop off at Goodwill. Got my first FIVE sales today. Thanks all, I just needed to figure out what the target audience was!
I’ve seen a lot of confusion around what a reseller is an if they are allowed on Vinted. I’m just a user but I felt like this sub needed a guide.
Vinted terms of service explicitly ban commercial activity (ie selling for profit) except for special accounts not currently allowed in the US. It’s designed for people to essentially declutter and pass on things to other people.
If I buy a shirt for $10, wear it and sell it for $5 that is not reselling / commercial activity. I did not profit. If I buy a shirt for $10 and sell it for $20 then thats commercial activity in the eyes of Vinted.
There are clearly plenty of people selling as a business. Some are being banned. Others are not. Their detection isn’t perfect.
Vinted is not the platform to start a reselling business in the US. They do not allow businesses in the US yet. Even so the pro accounts seem to be pretty restrictive. Use Ebay, Depop, Poshmark, etc if you want to resell. Read the rules of the platform if you are serious about it.
For the record, I’ve sold 200+ items in two months (of my own stuff) including some NWT items I haven’t gotten a warning or a ban. I’ve listed up to 10 items in a day but my average sales price is like $3. I think Vinted is the best platform for people who just want things out of their house extremely quickly.
If you are just a person trying to clean out your house I think Vinted is a great platform. What they look for in commercial sellers is probably not going to apply to you.
I’m sure I’ve bought from resellers but I’m not really a snitch. I don’t really understand the policy and I don’t really agree with it. But again it’s against the policy and violating it is at your own risk. You might get away with it, but you might not and waste time listing and lose your shop.
Buyer offered a price and I accepted it but they never got back to finalize the transaction. What an idiot! Anyone else having crappy buyers like mine??
