At this point “lightly used” doesn’t describe condition, it describes the seller’s ability to emotionally detach from evidence.

Vinted just turned back on SpeedX when I had it off (and now it's back off again). I'm not dealing with it and hate that they turned on a setting I purposefully turned off. No thank you.
I enjoy selling on Vinted for the most part but the biggest downside to me is really the entitlement and lack of patience from buyers. I don’t know what it is about this app the breeds kind of the worst of any platform I’ve sold on. Which is crazy because they’re getting things for super cheap! I had someone literally HOUNDING me about shipping a 2$ purse and I kept explaining to them that I was really sick so it would have to wait until the weekend and they still messaged me like 5 times a day if I’d shipped yet and then when it arrived to them they demanded a refund because there was a small stain on the inside (which had been pictured and written in the description). And also the offers people send are really just downright ridiculous sometimes!! I will post nice quality, clean items for super fair prices and people will still send me offers for $1 or $1.50. Like that wouldn’t even be worth a trip the post office!
My mom is old and started selling on vinted last month. I turned off speedx shipping when she started her account because the location close to us is sketchy af and I don't want her going there alone. She just asked me to look at a message she got and it was this. Seriously?? Are they that desperate??? I turned it off immediately, but I shouldn't have had to because I already turned it off not even a month ago
I’m looking for advice from anyone who has successfully gotten Vinted to manually review a damaged-item claim and actually intervene, instead of just receiving repetitive/canned responses. I especially want to know the exact escalation wording or method that worked for you.
I bought a gift set that arrived damaged because the seller placed it directly inside the shipping box with no padding, bubble wrap, cushioning, or other protective material. The product packaging was damaged in transit.
I selected partial refund because I thought that was the fairest compromise. I was willing to keep the damaged item so the seller would still get paid, while I received some compensation for the loss in condition.
Before the seller chose a resolution, I specifically messaged them and explained that I did not want to return the item because I did not want to incur another shipping cost after already paying shipping to receive it.
Despite that, the seller declined/overrode the option I selected and chose a return.
For context, I am also a seller on Vinted, and I am extremely meticulous about how I package my own orders because I understand that it is my responsibility to make sure an item is protected during transit. As a buyer, I expect the same basic standard: that an item should arrive in the condition it was in when I purchased it.
What has made this more frustrating is the way the seller handled the situation afterward. There was no apology, no explanation, and no acknowledgment that the item had been inadequately packaged. Instead, my concerns were dismissed rather than meaningfully addressed.
My main issue now is getting Vinted to actually review the claim themselves. Their own guidance says sellers are responsible for securely packaging items, and I have photos clearly showing that this item was shipped with no protection whatsoever.
Has anyone successfully gotten Vinted to step in, review the evidence, and allow the buyer to keep the item and receive a refund or partial refund even though the seller did not agree?
I had just listed a top for $18 that was basically brand new (Essentials brand, paid $70 originally and worn maybe once). Buyer offers $11 and when someone sends an offer I don’t want to accept I will just send the same counter. Countered $15.75 and buyer offers $14 and I stick with $15.50. Buyer offers $15; stick with $15.50 (it irritates me so much when people do this…) and then they buy. Wait a week to review and then leave this. I’m new to this platform so barely have any reviews. I don’t want to be petty but don’t think this interaction was worth 3 stars?? You already got a really good deal and I did give you additional $$$ off?? I see the same top being listed currently for over $30.
More and more people myself included are swapping to natural materials. Lots of folks still buy and wear synthetics and that's totally fine!! But why, WHY do sellers tag the material as silk when its not silk, tag as linen when its not linen, tag as wool or cashmere when its not?
Sometimes its a 5% blend or something and I get that, its technically correct, not your fault Vinted doesn't have an exclusion filter.
But even just today I wanted to buy a silk slip dress. And if I search "silk slip dress" and filter it to silk as the material, most of the listings are 100% polyester. Some don't even have tag photos and I message them and sure enough polyester.
The difference between silk and satin is not a niche knowledge right? And why would you list it as a wool sweater if its acrylic? Do some people think wool is a texture??

the shirt is tagged a size L, i listed it as an L, included a clear picture of the size tag, and had multiple modeled pics showing how it fit on me. i described it as a relaxed fit, which is how it fit me.
what’s confusing me is she relisted the shirt on her own page as a size L too and didn’t mention anywhere that it runs small or that the tagged size is misleading 😭 so if she also considers it an L, i don’t really understand why i lost a star because it didn’t fit her.
i know 4 stars isn’t terrible, but would you give her 4 stars back and mention that she deducted a star over fit as a heads up to other sellers? or would you just leave it alone? i’m also scared if i give her 4 stars she’ll get mad and change her review to something worse lmao 😭
Totally not a fan of this.. I want to see REAL photos of the items I’m buying. I’m so tired of seeing AI models wearing clothes or stock images. I’m hoping this means that it will be shown to the buyers though now if something has been edited/created with AI.
Why is it always the lowballers that come back with a problem!? I have over 200 sales with no issues. This person sent me repeatedly low offers and then finally caved and bought it. Now sends me this big long novel saying said item is stained sent pictures and I can’t even tell what she is talking about. What do you do in this case? This is my first issue so not sure how to handle it. I told them to open a case with Vinted.

I accidentally dropped off speed x packages to usps and tried to go back to get them but they were gone. USPS said that it’ll either be delivered or sent back to me but I’m worried on how long that’ll take because it’s for vinted. Has anyone had this issue and if so how long did it take. I was worried they would discard them but according to USPS they’re not allowed to. Please help!!! I know it was my fault for dropping them off but I was super busy that day and messed up 💔 also wanna add that the employee said they occasionally drop them off to speed x facilities, does anyone know if that’s true?

I specifically turned it off, because SpeedX has been nothing but a pain. Takes forever to ship, requires a far drive and dodgy smoke shops as drop-offs. Of course they turned it on as a “convenience” and a “benefit” for me while I was in the middle of my teaching day… and now someone purchased using it as the shipping option 🤦♀️

Hello I have been selling on Vinted just under a month. I made the mistake of listing things that sold on Vinted that had sold elsewhere and had to cancel 3 times. I got my first auto negative feedback. Last night a sweater had sold and I cannot find it! I am afraid of getting my account banned for too many cancellations.
