Found this book from 1889 at Half Price Books today! Original leather binding and one of the clasps still attached. Mostly bought because it’s very cool, but I’m curious what it says. Guessing a religious text of some sort?
I specifically turned it off, because SpeedX has been nothing but a pain. Takes forever to ship, requires a far drive and dodgy smoke shops as drop-offs. Of course they turned it on as a “convenience” and a “benefit” for me while I was in the middle of my teaching day… and now someone purchased using it as the shipping option 🤦♀️
Paid $1.50-$3 for each of these! If I don’t end up loving them, they go into my Little Free Library for someone else to enjoy 😊
Down 81 pounds, which is conveniently also the weight of my Labrador Theo 🙃 Hit my goal weight yesterday!
I teach 7th grade English and have students who speak 30+ different languages in all of my classes combined. Managed to find the Lord of the Rings in Russian at Half Price Books yesterday and I’m so excited for my Russian-speaking students to have it!
I am deeply NOT religious. But regardless, I’d like to buy something online and not receive religious cards. It feels like a reasonable ask!
(I didn’t leave a bad review - I did send a tactful message to the seller, though)
Happy birthday to the silliest meatball in the world!
I’m ready! Gotta caffeinate to handle these 7th graders!
Hello friends, I found these two lamps at Goodwill in Seattle today - the yellow one had no sticker, so it was a whole $5.99!
Wondering if anyone knows these lamps, and if you have recommendations for shades? Thank you!
Had no idea the world’s largest Goodwill was in my city (Seattle!). Pretty overwhelming!! Though I scored this sweater for $10, and later learned it’s a $250 sweater 😍
Don’t worry, he got to clean out the container for me! T-shirt from his lipoma surgery recovery (he’s doing great!).
I lost my 75th pound today 🥹 Never in my wildest dreams did I think this was possible!!!
HW: 266
SW with Tirz: 238.8
CW: 191
Still microdosing Tirz - it’s been 6 months and I’m at 2.0 mg! I’m a leukemia and a bone marrow transplant survivor, and treatment put me into menopause. My hormones were beyond messed up, and I hit my highest weight. Cannot believe I’ve been able to do this.
Will aim for another 6 pounds and see if I’m done!
Recovering from lipoma surgery - he’s doing great!! And obviously comfortable 😆
Saw this book in a thrift shop near Seattle, can’t say it’s a language I recognize!
The sweetest nanny of a dog in the world! Puppy gelato and chicken nuggets for you today, buddy.
So, I have been keeping a notes list of movies to watch that have been recommended here or that I’ve found online/in posts. Of course, I could actually research all of these again and take better notes about them, but curious if any of these titles ring a bell and you’d recommend I move to the top of my list? PS: I will take better notes from your recommendations - I am blaming my chemo brain!
