With fewer and fewer people willing to play tank, I got tired of being forced onto Magneto Strange etc almost every ranked game.

I started playing solo off-tank instead and eventually peaked Celestial I using this playstyle. It's definitely not something you can blindly pick every match, but if you understand when it works, it can be a really strong alternative.

I made a guide covering the decision-making, hero choices, and the situations where solo off-tank is actually the better option.

Even I feel bad for Spider-Man Mains lmao. At least give the guy some shorts/trunks like Johnny, the guy looks like he’s wearing a diaper. Plus he’s barely customizable 💀 even his face is uglier than before (bagman)! Allow customization to take his shirt off, add trunks, etc.

Meanwhile Cap’s got America’s Bulge.

Stuff like not being able to utterly obliterate a destructible surface as HULK THE SMASHER OF SURFACES

Stuff like White Fox ult not being agile

Stuff like Venomy not moving like a symbiote unless it’s his ult

The Cyclops situation:

• ⁠His kinetic energy beams got changed to lasers. (Even if they say otherwise. His primary functions just like Ultron except for headshots)

• ⁠He can’t lead the way.

• ⁠Using his kinetic energy beams to push people around has for the most part been ignored by the devs in exchange for just using them to dmg

• ⁠lacks his super endurance

• ⁠lacks his super durability

• ⁠has no ability to frequently push himself around using his kinetic energy beams because the one ability he has to do that is on a 12s cooldown rather than a meter, meaning if you do want to do a quick side dash… you can’t do it again for 12 seconds. In fantasy you’d be able to reposition short distances on repeat aiming where you want to move away from for high octane evasion (and your meter would run out in game eventually). (Iron Fist does this a bit but dodges towards where he is aiming)

• ⁠enemies walking into Cyclops secondary aren’t even being pushed back. Cyclops is able to use that beam to force even Juggernaut back. But in Rivals it’s just a laser so… whoopty

Got feedback. Made some updates. 60 ppl didn’t like it last time but I’m right about everything. Notice how nobody said ANYTHING about Rocket. That’s cuz they know I’m right.

Rank adjustments:

Cyclops bumped down.

Hela bumped down.

Cap knocked down.

Reed still can’t stretch his legs (no change).

Angela ranked (congratulations on S tier*).

Carnage ranked (can’t go liquid mode).

Cloak ranked (can’t go invisible… teleport… or shield).

Still need feedback on the heroes with lore I’m unfamiliar with. Do any Nova mains have opinions on how well the devs fulfilled his hero fantasy?

I'm not even a Cap main or a Groot main either I main DD, but I like having Caps on my team. So I was wondering, how is the matchup for you guys, and is it ban worthy? I play in C1 Eternity lobbies on PC, and I know Groot is still good, but he's kinda been going unnoticed in my games.

I hate flats so much, this is my first season playing comp after so long, please stop banning cap, I CANNOT play anything else, let me get to GM🥀

Alright boys, it's been a while. To be fair, it's been a pretty interesting season for us Cap players. With Cap being a consistent ban in a lot of my matches this season, it's really made me appreciate having him in my back pocket whenever he makes it through the ban phase.

To explain the tiers:

Free Kill – Easy dives. Unless they get peeled for, they're usually dead. The one exception is Punisher. Punisher by himself usually isn't a problem unless you're already low or he catches you with his shotgun before you engage.

Bait Cooldowns – Force out their important cooldowns first, then commit easy dives

50/50 – Skill matchup. The better player will win.

Avoid – These are the characters I generally avoid engaging. Some can beat Cap, while others are simply a waste of time since neither of you is likely to get the kill. so unless you are distracting or brawling then I'd avoid these characters

Death – Characters Cap either can't realistically fight or almost always loses to in a 1v1. Peni is only here because of her nest. get rid of it and then she's kinda free. In my experience, characters like Devil Dino and Rogue almost always win if I try to take them on alone.
