We loved the Delco Pride scrapbook!

Yesterday when we took the dinner cruise for our birthdays, we opened gifts. I had him open the cats' gift last.

I have more photos on the DSLR camera, but wanted to share two sweet selfies I took. He teared up a bit, he thought this gift was so loving.

I need help finding a new and simpler scrapbooking system

When my children were young, I did a lot of scrapbooking. As they got older and life got complicated, I stopped scrapbooking. I'm overwhelmed with unfinished projects and tons that I want to be done, but am not interested/unable to do it like before. I'm thinking of gathering photos, momentos from trips/events and organizing them together maybe in individual sleeves/envelopes instead of making pages in a book. I would love any other ideas. I would also love ideas for safe ways of storing them. Here's a possibility, but I would rather them be more 8.5x11 size and don't have to fit that much, but haven't found anything yet.

Celestial garden collage page

I had so much fun making this page — I mixed a vintage portrait with galaxy backgrounds, planets, roses, butterflies, and gold accents.

I'm not sure if it feels more "cosmic garden" or "dreamy vintage space opera", but I kind of love the mood.

Materials used — celestial paper & washi tape: ieebee / galaxy paper, portrait paper & butterfly stickers: Taobao.

Where are you all getting your stickers and papers from?

I am VERY new to scrapbooking—like, I just got my very first scrapbook at the thrift store yesterday. I wanted to start so I can document my daughter's life, so I wanted to start with the first year of her life!

I have a local Michaels and a Walmart and that's it. I really want to find stickers and papers that work with pages like "Summer vibes" or "Pumpkin picking" "First bath". Kind of an old school traditional style of scrapbooking.

Where are you buying your fun stickers and papers? I would honestly prefer NOT to shop at chain stores, but now there is so much slop on the internet, I don't even know if a small business is real or dropshipping from Temu or Aliexpress.

Thanks in advance—so excited to be a part of the community! Included a photo of my new scrapbook!

best/easiest way to add fabric to a scrapbook?

the best way to add a fabric cover to my 12x12 scrapbook. i've seen some videos on fb/instagram where people add a fabric cover with lace - think 90's scrapbooks. i've also seen some add quilt batting(?), but I'm not sure of a brand or thin enough batting to give the effect I'm looking for - any help is appreciated, thanks and happy crafting!

How is this kind of puffy stickers made?

Can someone explain to me how is it made? Is it a coat of resin or something? Sorry if it is a dumb question. I'm a noob in the sticker business.

Photo printer suggestions?

Hi! I'm looking for suggestions for a good photo printer or mini photo printer. My process is that I print 100s of photos at a time through CVS or walgreens, so when I'm putting together my pages I always realize there are photos I missed. I'm hoping to get a photo printer to use for these occasions. The most important aspect to me is long term cost and the affordability of buying refill ink/paper.

I've gathered that dye sublimation is better for photo quality (versus zink) so i'm leaning towards Kodak Mini Retro 2 or Canon Selphy. If there's a zink printer where the cost per print is significantly cheaper, I'd consider that too. Any suggestions are welcome!!
Thanks!

Good apps for scrapbooking?

I get stressed out by Pinterest boards because I kind of just throw everything into it then it’s hard to go through to know what I really want from it. I want to make digital scrapbooks for ideas and stuff but every app I’ve tried so far either requires a subscription or is very limiting.

I just want to be able to have multiple books with different pages and add images and words and stuff. I feel like I remember having one like what I’m looking for but I can’t remember the name. It doesn’t have to be specifically for scrapbooking as long as it does what I want it to do lmao

[Discussion] First time making custom scrapbook & papercraft orders, what does your workflow look like?

Hi! I’ve been thinking about opening custom scrapbook and papercraft orders, but honestly I have no idea what I’m doing. 😅
I know how to make the actual projects, but everything else feels confusing. I don’t really know what the process is supposed to look like once someone wants to order from you. Do you just figure it out as you go, or is there a general workflow most people follow?
I’d love to hear how you got started and if there are things you wish someone had told you before taking your first custom order. Any advice would really help. Thank you!
