Is this normal EWT for a vertical loop?

I had concerns when they first installed the loop because the horizontal run from the vertical headers are only about 2-3ft deep, so I was worried that the outside air temps and ground temp would greatly effect the loop temps and kill efficiency. Can anyone compare their system for me?

The other metric I have is in the month of June, I used 1083 Kw for just the geothermal cooling. I thought these systems were supposed to be more efficient or cheaper to run than a 24 year old A/C condenser. This June I spent $123 just on the geothermal cooling. Last year with the 24 year old A/C condenser I used $130 or 1156 Kw on cooling. 4T system

Thanks!

Okay Mammotion….

No issue with the lens delaminating according to customer service🤷‍♂️ I guess we are supposed to wait until it’s out of warranty and continues to get “stuck” everywhere… ridiculous

YoLink testimony/review

Hello everyone!

I was answering another post and figured I’d post a little more length here for anyone who may be considering YoLink or has never heard of YoLink.

If you haven’t heard of YoLink or you haven’t used them.. you’re definitely missing out. They are relatively cheap for the quality you get. They DO REQUIRE a hub, but once you’ve got that.. pretty much everything works off that. The devices don’t clutter your WiFi as all the devices communicate with that hub using LoRa.. and because of that.. they use very little battery power and the distance that signal travels is significantly better.

Just a couple things I use them for…

I’m on well water. If you have city water, this is even easier with their smart flow control.. but for me, I use their water leak sensors which are an excellent design in my opinion (they have little chirping signals that you can hear even if for some reason they don’t connect, but that’s never been an issue for me. Also, I really like the design to catch water). I use these leak sensors to trigger a relay that I tied into a contactor that cuts power from my well pump. Super easy and a great peace of mind.. especially if I’m out of town. You can actually turn off this relay or on remotely from anywhere you have internet access.

I also use their smart dimmer light switches. I have motion sensors placed around that trigger the lights to turn on when I enter the area/room and then off when I leave.

I also have sirens. I’ve used these to trigger when a trailer YoLink vibration sensor detects vibration and the siren scares off people tampering with the locks. I’ve also used these sirens to keeps animals out of specific areas (or off the counters in the case of training a cat that struggled to keep paws clean after the litter box). These sirens can also tap into any other device incase of needing an immediate notification that you won’t sleep through.

I also have smart outlet plugs that I can move from outlet to outlet or just keep in one. I use them for fans, sump pumps, lamps, and really anything I want to be able to turn off and on remotely.

They also have remotes that can be mapped to any of the automations you want.. so there is one of those on the sofa and near the bed.

I also have a sump water level detector, so I can be alerted if the water makes it past the point of the sump pump activation trigger (and before it would leak onto the floor and trigger a water leak sensor).

I also have a relay that connects a non-smart garage door button wiring to the YoLink system so that I can open and close the garage door remotely just as if I was pressing that button.

I also have their smart locks. 1 annoyance is the lever door locks I have will always auto lock after the maximum 3 minutes. You can shorten this timer, but you can’t turn it off. I love these lever locks.. lots to love, but there is that one annoyance.

I also have power sensor alarms that essentially just plug into an outlet and alert you when they lose power.. as well as scream/siren.

I also have fire and CO alarm combos on each floor that will alert me even if I’m not home and can be tied into other automation.

I also have an outdoor temperature and humidity sensor that shows me current and historical data which I’ve found useful.

I also have relays for various things, but one set up on ventilation (ERV) so that I can turn off my ERV if the neighbor has a fire going.

I also have temperature/humidity sensors in each of the fridges and freezers (saved me so many times with kids).

I also have a vibration sensor zip tied to my sump pump drainage pipe so that I can keep an eye on how often it’s activating/cycling.

I also have outdoor door/gate sensors on fencing. (And indoor door/window sensors to activate lights and so on)

And finally.. I’ve used one of their cellular hubs which requires $6.99/mo for LTE service, but I’ve used that in a vehicle along with vibration sensors and motion sensors and a loud siren.. for vehicle security on the go. It even picks up if someone bangs their car door into your vehicle (if you have the vibration sensitivity turned higher).

All in all.. I have a lot of their devices. I’ve purchased most from Amazon or directly through them (for the 5% off loyalty discount on top of the current sales). There is no ongoing subscription (with the exception of the cellular LTE costs if you need a pro/cellular hub. I’m quite happy with the costs of each device as well. They are quite durable and barely ever need their batteries changed (some tout 10-year battery life.. which I’ve only ever used them for 2+ years.

(I don’t work for them, they never send me free stuff, and it doesn’t benefit me in any way if you buy them.. I just think it’s quite a great system)

Looking to block certain WANs

Hello,

I’m looking to block certain VLANs from actively using certain WANs.

I have 4 WANS, and I’d like to force one specific VLAN to only have Internet access for 2 of those 4.

Right now I have a policy based route that locks all of that VLAN’s traffic to WAN 1, but I’d like to figure out the most streamlined/foolproof way to allow WAN2 access when WAN 1 goes down, but NOT allow access on WAN 3 & WAN 4.

How would you go about this?

I guess you get what you pay for

Attempted to get synced lyrics that I already manually took the time and processed for the release of the track as a single, so that I could copy it over to the same track, with the same ISRC, on the album release.

DistroKid does not have an option to access or download the files created for synced lyrics nor do they have an option to upload such a file in place of re-doing the manual synced lyrics again.

This makes it kind of annoying when you have to go through the process of syncing lyrics multiple times for the same track. In my opinion, it should either be automatically linked when you use the same ISRC, or have an option to use the same syncing, or at the very least allow for users who have paid for LyricBlaster to download the synced data and upload it to the new release (just as we can for ISRC numbers).

I saw rule 7 said no code requests.. so if providing an extra code is also against the rules, please remove.

I just wanted to extend the promo code I have. I don’t know how they work or if they are tied to an account or anything, but here’s two:

Issue linking YouTube music

I keep running into an issue using the fixer tool to request my music to be added to my YouTube music page.

I saw a Reddit post from a couple weeks ago saying a similar issue (albeit about a different error prompt).

I’m getting:
“Please enter a valid YouTube Music URL or choose "No" to create a new YouTube Music page for this artist.”

I’m not sure what DistroKid wants for formatting. I’ve tried with www (not included in the copied link), capitalizing the HTTPS, cutting off the extra random letters behind the band page name.. and DistroKid keeps rejecting the link.

Did they make a change where these two error prompts are the same? Essentially is it an API issue I’m also running into? I feel like this step I’m trying to do is just submitting a ticket, so pasting a link shouldn’t be giving me an error.

Thanks!

Looking for players with experience using the add-on: adventurer’s toolkit

I am looking for players with experience using the add-on adventurer’s toolkit. It promises the world it seems.

  1. how’s the performance? (Lots of UI errors?)
  2. is this one of those malicious add-ons that pop up and get banned shortly after.. or is it legitimately the best add-on out there and sorely underused?

Need some help understanding complex tricare

So.. I’m trying to get information to compare plans and how they work and what they cover. I call tricare prime east (humana) and they give me false information about tricare for life. I call tricare for life and they give me false information about tricare prime. So I’m reaching out here in hopes that somewhere in this group there is an actual expert who understands the process.

Important information:
-I have Medicare part A and B
-I am medically retired from the military, so I gain access to Tricare Prime
-I currently have Tricare prime for my family, but I only have Tricare for life for me

I want to know if enrolling in Tricare prime would be more beneficial for me.

My thought process is: if I enroll in Tricare prime, I will have much cheaper costs associated with seeing a facility that doesn’t take Medicare, since Tricare for life is percentage based care similar to select. I don’t know if there are even facilities that take Tricare but not Medicare as both are government backed. What I do know is: Tricare for life essentially removes any costs or copays associated with Medicare when the facility accepts both.

  1. will Tricare prime provide the SAME wrap around coverage.. or would I end up paying more with Tricare prime as the secondary versus tricare for life as the secondary?
  2. if I had Tricare prime as the secondary, do I have to jump through the PCM hoops and referrals or not because it’s secondary (I know my spouse has OHI, but not Medicare, and they do not require referrals)?
  3. could I use my Tricare prime completely stand-alone as if I didn’t have access to Medicare when I go to a facility that doesn’t take Medicare (PCM, referrals, and low copays)?

I’d appreciate any information from people who know what they are talking about, because I already got screwed by Tricare/SSA with hundreds and hundreds of dollars worth of penalties for my Medicare part B premiums.

Essentially, are there pros and cons to enrolling in Tricare prime rather than Tricare for life. The comparison tools online don’t really explain well what happens when Tricare prime is secondary nor do they have an article that covers people who are both eligible for Tricare prime and Tricare for life as that normally does not happen.

Thank you!

Software bug continues to be an issue

On the Luba 2 models, this issue continues to be present for over a year at least. The issue is when the Luba “gets stuck” and you press continue working… the robot is physically “stuck”/located at the pause symbol. The software recognizes that… but it thinks it’s mowed a lot more than it has because it wasn’t moving.

As shown in the picture here… the Luba was mowing the perimeter first. You can see the white line on the perimeter disappeared or “mowed” further ahead than the Luba got “stuck”. This has been an ongoing issue I’ve posted before. I own multiple Lubas and this is an issue on all of them.

Xbox/console needs an addon feature that alerts when someone switches roles in group. There are too many people exploiting group finder for trials by queuing as a tank and then swapping to dd role right when they join. It breaks the group finder and locks it to 9 DDs until you remove the person who fake qued.

If anyone knows any of the addon creators such as crutchalerts or hodor reflexes etc, please get the word out since the game doesn’t lock the role selection when grouped after group finder.
