My boss rolled up with three 6 packs of Ithaca Flower power after shift.......where tf have I been? Easily top 5 IPAs ever for me.

Never had it, never heard of it, doesn't matter. Why have I never heard of this beer? I feel like it's right up there with Heady Topper and the like.

Strength Training Advice

Want to start throwing some strength training sessions in my routine but I'm kind of scared for lack of better words. Only reason being is I haven't worked my legs out in a long time and I know for sure I'm going to be sore. I don't want to give up 3-4 days of running from being sore from strength training. For those who do strength training and run, how does that work for you? Was there an adjustment period where you were more sore in the beginning of adding strength training to your routine? Does it not matter? Do you have different routines with different weights to mitigate recovery time? I'm curious to hear what works for everyone.

Boxing news/updates channels or creators

Been looking to get back into watching more boxing as a whole not just big fights. Anyone know any YouTube channels or content creators that do good recaps or current boxing news/updates? Don't really know where to look and all of the major outlets show the same things over and over.

Plateauing at 7:30mi pace

Fairly new runner. Been at it for about a year consistent. Over this year I've hit some what I once thought were superhuman milestones (1:45hm, 48:59 10k). I run about 18-22 miles a week. Lately I've been trying to get a sub 23 minute 5k (PR 23:17) but find myself hitting a wall at about 7:30mi pace. I structure my runs (2 easy, one tempo, one long (7mi+) per week as a base) and have been trying to incorporate some strength training. Is this wall just me seeing the beginner gains dwindle as I run more or could it be a lack of strength training, or will the gains come but just take a lot longer than the first year? Any advice is appreciated.

Half Marathon PR on my Weekend Long Run

For the past 2 months or so I've been running purely on feel and honestly it really makes a difference for me. Went out for my weekend Long run (was planning on a 15k) felt pretty good when I hit that mark, just kept going and ended up with this. Literally just made my week. Gotta love those unexpected PRs. Talk about an overall confidence boost.

What in your opinion dictates what is it is not a beginner?

Posted recently and it got me thinking. I've been running for about a year, I consider myself to be a beginner. What do you think takes you out of the "beginner" classification in your own opinion?

First sub 24 minute (23:17) 5k !!!!!

Went out and hit a 10k PR on Saturday and now this. I'm so hyped! I really think hitting the 10k PR primed me for this. It's crazy what you can do running when you know what you're actually capable of. Next goal 22:30.

Ran my first sub 50 10k today!

Finally seeing all these runs starting to pay off. First sub 50 10k and first run longer than 4 miles at sub 8min pace. Beyond hyped!
