Compression question

Bought a 2026 kp23 two piece this year. I play wed-fri co ed and 1-2 tourneys a month, we usually get our guarantees and go home. So mathematically 2-3 swings a game. When I BP I usually pick different sticks to swing and when I do tee work I use my KP.

Show up for a one nation tourney last week. The guy said the compression test was right on the line of passing

It’s my first bat I’ve ever bought and had to test, but buying a bat and it almost failing compression in the same season is pretty insane to me, no?

Any thoughts comments? This normal? I asked my buddy and he just said I dunno. Lol

Computer Force Resets Daily

Hello

Not too much of a computer guy outside of simple things and gaming on it.

Recently over the last couple months, my computer shuts down, and goes dark but the power is still on and all the accessories. I reset it using the power button and sometimes it goes into bios sometimes goes to Home Screen. It happens about 1-3 times a session and then is fine.

I know there’s a way but not sure how to share the reasoning behind the issue like a crash report.

About a month ago I did a hard reset on my computer and dusted it all out. I’m hoping it’s not a hardware issue and more or something I can do to it internally to fix it.

My guess is my power source is going out. Or it’s over heating. Or it’s corrupted data. Hoping for the last one obviously.

So my question is how can I share a crash report to this to ask what is going on with it?

Thanks!

League night question

Ever coach a league night team and have a few that most can’t stand because of their lack of ability of playing the sport? Well, kind of in that position.

Yes it’s just league but some of these people don’t play meaningful ball or weekend ball. They want me to replace them with some people that we know better who can play a lot better.

How do yall go about this? Just burn the bridge and cut them and say sorry buddy or something else?

EDIT :

We did not know these people before the league started. They were pick ups from people not being picked up. They aren’t friends or buddies or anything just bodies we picked up bc others were already on teams. Now they want to jump ship and merge a team to be good since both teams have people who aren’t too good. Not friends lol

It’s not an ego thing. I’m not an asshole. Lol

Shoulder Brace Inquiry

I know about the kinetic arm and plan on getting one here with my next VA check…. But has anybody bought one from let’s say Amazon or local that helped out their pain in their throwing arm?

I was told it was most likely my rotator cuff and a lot of people recommended the kinetic arm brace. But can’t afford it and have a tournament this weekend coming up. Can’t afford to miss work for surgery right now so it’s not an option. This winter im getting it done

I’m also going to get some bands and try the exercises before this weekend and such that everybody recommends too

DMR nerf…. When?

Defense having a dmr is great… but a x2 dmr that absolutely shreds is a little much. I know there’s talk in nerfing them but why can’t they do it this season?

An ODD situation…

Hopefully this doesn’t come across as stupid or anything of the nature.

These are rattlesnake heads and I know that (AI detected I was asking what snake it was)

My dog ate the heads of two epoxied rattlesnakes from my belt buckle that I got at a rattlesnake roundup in Texas last year. I have no idea how she got it off of the rack it was on and she never was interested before in it and I haven’t worn it since Christmas.

My question is, will she be okay or should I take her in? I don’t know anything about this situation other than I have her some peroxide but she hasn’t puked. She’s doing fine an hour later but figured I’d ask here

If it isn’t allowed I apologize

Tips/suggestions On Swing

Couple of videos from this past week league. This year my swing has improved tremendously. More line drives and hard hit balls and I have 7-8 homers on the year.

The homers are coming when I’m not trying to and whenever I try, just like everybody else, they’re pop flies.

Not a home run search post and how to do it but I guess I’m just looking for any ideas on my swing, where it could improve and what to look for in it. The good and bad.

Me and my gf are doing BP tomorrow and want to take whatever tips tricks or suggestions from here and imply it in my next session.

Trying to escape league ball and play more serious ball and more of a guy people search for to be picked up rather than he’s good enough for league.

My team I play for on the weekends has been slow lately as most besides 5-6 guys want to play whenever. The rest… hard to get them to the fields. So we have to pull out of USSSA tourneys a lot. It sucks. I hate Michigan ball.

Thanks everybody!

Fielding slump

Over my many years of ball, baseball and softball, I’ve never had a problem at the hot corner. Fielding balls in my sleep back hand glove hand line drives everything. Now being 27 and going on to my 5th year of playing, I’m in the worst fielding slump of my life at third base. Stabbing at balls, dropping fly balls, going to tag runners before having the ball, legit feeling like I’m in a foreign place at third. Without any smart comments of “try practicing?” Does anybody have any tips? Heading to the field tomorrow with my girl and having her hit some off the tee to me. Even before the game today I had our best hitter hitting rockets and me having no troubles but as soon as the game comes, it’s almost like I’m scared to field a ball. I’ve never believed in the yips until now.

Back to the basics, I know. Glove down watch it in yes. I’m even thinking about getting a mask and seeing if it’ll help my mental side of things.

Even thought about getting my eyes checked. I almost feel like I’m struggling seeing the ball off the bat this year more than I ever have. (27 years young)

Any tips are welcome. Even the smart a** ones. I’ll chuckle and move on. Just trying to figure out this fielding slump that I’ve never dealt with before

Edit : I’ve been playing since February in tournaments and then league ball started up 5 weeks ago and since week three, I’ve sucked. So it’s not like it’s dusting off the off season sweat and getting back into it either. Mid season slump
