Gecko constantly climbing his background and restless- what do I do?

I've had my six-year-old male leopard gecko since he was a tiny baby, we've been through six breeding seasons together, and moved houses and I have never seen him act like this.

From the second he comes out after dusk until the second he goes back into his hide for the day he's literally climbing the walls and will not sit still.

Every time I put my hand into the enclosure he climbs my arm.

I thought maybe he wanted to be handled more, but no matter how much I handle him or for how long, he doesn't stop.

He's still eating and pooping normally, he lives in a 4x2x2 bioactive enclosure with a proper temperature gradient and proper humidity levels. He has six hides and several climbing opportunities.

Why is he doing this all of a sudden? Is he miserable? Should I take him to the vet?

Can't even allergy testing without being stripped naked

Talked to a doctor about getting allergy testing, set everything up, showed up at the clinic, and he immediately told me to take off my shirt and bra.

I said no.

He started asking why I was so resistant to the idea, and being pushy so I got up and walked out.

He could've done the testing on my forearm. I looked it up. Instead, he insisted on trying to humiliate me.

I'm so fucking sick of doctors trying to force me to take off my clothes.

How do I get my elderly cat to eat science diet kidney care?

My elderly cat was diagnosed with kidney failure earlier in the week. My vet gave me science diet kidney care and said it's important that he eats it... He won't touch the stuff.

He keeps going up to his bowl and sniffing it but as soon as he realizes it's still the kidney care food he walks away. He hasn't eaten anything in 3 days, I thought I could wait him out and he'd eventually just eat it because that's what my vet said, but he's not.

What should I do?

Who else is scared for the dead city alternate reality episode?

We've know for a while that they were going to do an alternate reality episode >!and that Beth was going to be in it !< and it seemed like an interesting concept at first but after seeing the screenshots from the episode I'm scared about how this is going to be handled.

They better not make Maggie and negan a couple.

I don't care if it's not "real" because it's just an alternate reality episode, or a dream sequence or whatever it's going to be. They better not go there.

Not sure if I'm even asking this in the right place, but I have a bit of an odd situation on my hands and I don't know how to handle it.

The TLDR of the situation is that I decided to put up a gate at the entrance to my property (family property with multiple houses) one of the biggest reasons I decided to do this is a man who works for my power company has shown up multiple times on my property for completely unnecessary reasons that I'll go into more detail about later for anyone who wants to read it, made me very uncomfortable, did very weird things such as looking into my windows, and blocking my driveway until I got out of my car to talk to him. For context, I am woman, pretty small, and disabled. I work from home most of the time so I am very often home alone when this man shows up so I asked my husband to put up a gate so he at least cannot just drive to our house. He'll have to walk the very long driveway.

Today when we were leaving our house this same power company man was parked near our driveway and approached my husband while he was unlocking our gate and told him we have to put a lock provided by the power company on the gate for them to access the power poles on the property.

My husband asked if he would have access and he said yes.

Now we don't want to do it.

This man has made me feel unsafe on my own property and I don't know how to handle this.

The long version:

When my husband and I first moved onto our property (40 acres owned by my family with multiple houses belonging to family members) a man showed up, he was driving a truck from our power company, wearing a uniform from our power company, and handed me a piece of paper stating that our electricity bill was due in 3 days.

I was extremely confused by this and asked if we were late paying it thinking maybe the automatic payment failed or something, he said no, we weren't late they just send him to people's houses three days before their bill is due to remind them... I didn't believe he worked for the power company and kinda panicked, quickly took the paper and thanked him and went back in my house.

I asked my other family members about it and they all said that he does work for the power company and if you don't pay your bill at least 3 days before the due date he shows up. I called the power company to confirm he does work for them and they confirmed it as well.

Over the next few months, he showed up several more times. During one of those times I ignored him and didn't answer the door, I caught him looking in my living room windows from the front porch a few minutes later. Another time he blocked my driveway and refused to move until I got out of my car and talked to him and took his stupid paper.

He usually goes out of his way to make conversation with me, he's asked questions about my dogs, my husband's truck, our property, and even my tattoos which made me extremely uncomfortable.

My dogs don't like him and have growled and lunged at him despite being friendly to other people and not having any history of aggressive behavior, yet he will still walk into our yard uninvited.

He has also walked through my flowerbed, turned off my sprinkler for some reason? And intentionally ran over a snake in my driveway which pissed me off to the point it resulted in a screaming match with him.

I have asked this man on multiple occasions to stop coming to my house, he refuses and once responded with "I'll see you next month" and tipped his hat and winked at me when I expressed I didn't want him to come back and he was making me uncomfortable.

My husband has also confronted him, telling him that we get a bill in the mail every month and what he's doing is unnecessary and a nuisance. He said he had to come, if we don't like it we can take it up with the company (which we did and it did no good) and become very rude and aggressive towards my husband.

I work from home most of the time and I am very often on the property alone when this man shows up, which makes me very uncomfortable. I am a rather small person and disabled so if anything did happen I likely wouldn't be able to defend myself.

Because of this I asked my husband to install a gate in the hope that if he has to walk the very long driveway to my house he won't do it. It actually worked last month.

This month however he was parked somewhere near my driveway and approached my husband to inform us that we had to put a special lock from the power company that granted their employees access to our property. I wouldn't mind this if it were just linemen or repair people...but my husband asked if he would have access to it as well and he said yes.

My husband informed him that was going to be a problem because he was part of the reason the gate was put up in the first place after he had made me extremely uncomfortable on many occasions, we had made it clear we don't want him on our property. He said "She'll just have to get over it" and told my husband that it was a requirement that we install the lock.

Is there anything we can do to fight this?

I feel like there's no escape from what I consider to be blatant harassment from this man now, and I have to just accept feeling unsafe on my own property every month for forever.

After many years learning to advocate for myself, and my family members, and finding this community, and learning alongside the people who built it I've decided to pursue the next step in being the biggest menace to the healthcare system I can be by becoming a board-certified patient advocate. I'm hoping some people here can give me some advice.

I really want to focus on reproductive health and reproductive health rights, as well as trans health after my own horrid experiences with gyencogly and watching my husband go through the process of transitioning.

I'm excited for this next step but I have some concerns...

The biggest one right now is that the patient advocacy board I would need the certification from requires you to submit two letters of recommendation showing basically that you do know your stuff and are a good patient advocate. The problem with that is while I can easily acquire letters of recommendation from people I've helped none of those people are healthcare workers or other patient advocates, and most of the healthcare workers I've interacted with as a patient advocate I'm pretty sure hate me.

I went into this 100% for patients, to do right by patients, and help make extremely necessary changes to healthcare. Unfortunately, that seems to rub most healthcare workers the wrong way.

I ordered two things on the TikTok shop, the page saying the order was confirmed came up, I thought that meant the order was in fact confirmed and would ship since that's how every other online store works.

Well after about 2 weeks of the packages not arriving I go to check the tracking and find there isn't any, but I have messages from the sellers asking me to confirm my shipping address.

As soon as I did so the orders shipped as normal.

Is this happening to anybody else?

Is this just a new thing TikTok is doing?
