Quick reset in offline training
Afaik LMU does not have a quick reset function for training purposes.
I was wondering if this is on a future feature list or not considered to implement at all?
I recently started sim racing again and chose LMU because it seems to be a fair deal, but that would really offset my opinion about the game.
So is that we can expect in the (near) future or am I the only one kissing this functionality?
Alpha evo upside down?
Hey folks,
I have an alpha evo sport and was wondering if I could mount it upside down?
What I am aiming for is to have the side mounting holes on the top rather than on the bottom. It would improve my knee clearance but I don’t know if that has wearing issues or functional disadvantages.
So would be great if someone who knows could tell me. Thanks.
After 20+ years ... this is what I recently got :)
So ... 20+ years ago, I strapped a G25 to my desk and had a 32" TV right in front of me to rock GT Legends and such ... gool ol' times.
Then there was a loooooooong time nothing!
3 weeks ago I got a delivery and now I am back in the game and try to not wreck everybody else.
I was torn between ordering the GT Neo and the Zeus sport, but since the Zeus was still pre-order and I didn't want to wait any longer, the GT Neo is what I have now.
Therefore it would be perfect to get a Zeus sport too :D
Anyways, I am pretty happy so far and appreciate any recommendations and tips to further improve my setup.
keep racing!

3 rolling starts, 3 drive throughs, 0 clues
so I did these rolling starts in LMU daily and got each time a drive through.
Can someone please explain me why I got them, so I can adjust my behaviour!?
right before the start the speed was 60 and the "flag" was green.
Thanks
LMU GT3 daily - what is the lesson to learn here?
Hey folks,
I am the BMW and I am wondering what could I have done better in this situation? I am a rookie, so don't be to harsh please :)
First rig for 20 years, I am overwhelmed-help please!
Hey folks,
great news, I finally made it to the point where I was able to put in some laps after 20+ years no sim racing.
Even scored a 3rd place in the daily at Sebring 😅
Now to the … let’s say … more challenging part.
Back in the days I had a G25, plugged it in and started racing. After a while I did setup motec on my laptop and that was it.
Now I built my rig with simagic and installed sim hub too (which doesn’t work with the gt Neo on “WiFi” 🤦).
But I am completely overwhelmed of all the settings for the gear, let alone the car.
So my question, before I dive in for weeks into the topic, is there a guide to get a baseline from there I can start? That everything is working properly and adjusted decently?
Would be great so that I can start racing and slowly building my skills as well as my ability to tweak my setup.
Thanks in advance and happy racing :)
Edit: I forgot to mention, I am currently playing LMU to get started without breaking the bank - already did that with the rig 😆
Hardware is alpha evo, gt Neo and p1000
HA and ecovacs
Hey folks,
I integrated ecovacs to my HA OS which worked fine so far.
I did this in order to gain access two 2 specific entities of my deebot T20 omni: waste tank and fresh water sensors.
Unfortunately they don't show up in HA while they must be integrated somehow, since the ecovacs app notifies me when waste water is full and fresh water is empty.
Any ideas how to gain access to this information? I am also on apple, which means that I can't spoof the app notifications afaik.
Thanks for your ideas.
PS: I am also open to clever solutions to measure it without any ecovacs involvement, but all I googled so far wasn't to my taste.
“100 Sachen 80”
Ich haben das in den letzten Tagen leider öfter lesen müssen. Wo kommt das her?
best way to measure power draw
So I have an automation which alerts me when washer and dryer are done based on the power consumption of each device.
I used shelly gen4 plugs as poc to get the power measurements, but think that's overkill just for that and hope there are cheaper alternatives.
So please tell me, what are the best / most cost effective way to measure power draw from devices with home assistant.
Oh I like the simplicity of just having something in between the outlet and the device plug.
thanks a lot in advance
sim rig sound
Hey folks,
I am in the process of building my setup and purchased 3x 32" curved monitors.
These came with integrated sound, which is better than expected and (at least in the beginning) good enough for me for racing sounds.
My question is, how can I - or is it possible at all - to setup the sound in a way, that left / right / center channels are send to the corresponding monitor only, so that there is a "surround" sound effect?
Thanks for any help in this regard.
switch panel for Shelly
I’m using Shelly 2pm in the “cover” mode for my shutters.
This provides the in the picture shown controls (up, down, % slider) in the app.
I would like to have a switch panel which offers the same control directly at the wall.
Does anyone know something like that? The Shelly itself is directly behind the switch and therefore easy accessible.
How do these two pics go together?
First pic shows the distance between mower / docking station and the rtk, while also providing the current location accuracy.
The second pick shows the status of the rtk.
If the mower has that strong of a signal, shouldn’t the rtk work too?
I honestly don’t know if that was since beginning because I checked this setting for the first time.
I also did the process of unplugging everything as mentioned in the unofficial handbook yesterday.
The screenshots are from 2 minutes ago 🤷
What am I missing?
So I wanted to have a honeycomb infill without bottom and top surface in order to expose it for design and material savings reason.
The slicer (Bambu studio) had no issue with that and actually displayed it the way I wanted.
The printer (x1c) though didn’t agree. Mid print it switched from honeycomb to what looks like rather gyro style infill and ruined the look.
Pic1 bottom side meets expectation
Pic 2 top side with weird infill
Pic 3 Bambu studio preview
Anyone an idea why this happened twice? (First print failed, because I handled the support wrong).
Thanks in advance.
The app just asked me to login again. After logging in, the app was blank, no device linked, nothing.
Did anyone else had that?
Edit: fixed it … I was a little judgmental, it was an error with the “sign in with google”, not the Lymow app
