Decreased Range After Switch to Pi?

I have a AirNav 1090 antenna on the roof of my shop which was formerly connected to an older laptop. For a year and a half my max range was 299 miles and the average was around 200 miles. The laptop died and I switched over to a Raspberry Pi with the same antenna hardware, same location. Now, after 10 days up my max range is only 227 miles and the average is around 120.

What gives? Why would a change on the computer end of the hardware amount to a decrease (or increase for that matter) in range?

Air control valves for heavy truck suspension. Is there a way to reverse the Haldex 90054007 to operate properly on the passenger side? I don't have room to put it in front of the axle without being damaged by the shock absorber. The exhaust valve (clear tubing) must be on top...
