I'm not strong enough to do this any longer

I'm severe. Bedbound. Dark room.

I got so much worse after an iron infusion. I have every symptom of hypophoshatemia from the iron infusion, one of which is the most intense anxiety and impending doom. But of course, it's not showing up normally in the tests.

So I've been gas lighting myself that I don't have it. Then my phosphate gets low. And I just want to self delete immediately with what it does to my thoughts.

Its been almost 5 months.

I can't do this anymore. I keep telling myself it's just the phosphate. But It's been so long where I'm battling this almost every single day.

.

I can talk myself through anxiety normally. This is another beast. My thoughts are not in my control when it happens

People say I'm so strong for dealing with all this. I'm not though. I'm so weak. I can't deal with it anymore.

I can't tell my Dr because when I said I was having anxiety as a side effect, all of a sudden my 5 and a bit year history of mecfs was just anxiety and he's risked my disability claim.

I need help and no one can help me.

Genetic testing recommendations

I would like to get genetic testing done to look at mthfr, mitochondrial issues, etc.

I'm completely overwhelmed with the options. Is there a company who is more medically aimed? Or one that's the most comprehensive? I know I'll have to put whatever one into one of those other sites, but don't want to waste money on a company that isn't the best choice.

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

Another new mattress - 6 YEARS of looking and... It's promising!

I've been trying to replace a super soft Beautyrest mattress from about 15 years ago (sleep country Canada's plush Preston 17 inch). I went to all the stores in my city for years, tried so many beds and every single one had harder coils, and no matter the comfort layers, my hips had pressure pain. I'm a side sleeper, sometimes leaning onto my front with one leg up.

Ordered one bed that wa supposed to be similar to mine, my boyfriend still uses it like 3 years later and it's hard as a rock.

So I called Beautyrest and grilled them about every Canadian model coil structure. Even the woman on the phone was surprised that most of the plushes had 13.75 gauge coils.

I ended up ordering a worldclass super pillow top plush lusso 16.5 inch (15.5 gauge coils).

I laid on it a bit last night... No poking in my hips!!! It was actually soft!!! It's really promising and I'm so excited! I expected a break in period like they say, even though my last bed was like a cloud from day 1

Feel free to ask me any questions!

I'm letting her off gas before I get more time on her.

Options similar to Flo or envo pro?

Looking for something reusable that You can feel the seal of like Flo or envo.

My partner has a large face and high nose bridge. The envo pro is too small for his face and the Flo works, but he has to have it really tight for his high nose bridge.

Exact opposite for me. Such a small face and low nosebridge. Envo is too big and I have to maneuver the Flo exactly perfectly for my nose bridge to seal.

Bonus if it has an exhalation valve!

Beautyrest World Class

Any thoughts or feedback on these mattresses?

I'm getting the BR worldclass ultra plush Lusso level 2. It's Canadian, but similar to the level 4 American.

I have been trying to replace my BR Plush Preston (Canadian, from sleep country) from around 2012. It is 17 inches, 15.5 gauge coils and im hoping the worldclass is similar. The Lusso is 16.5 inches and 15.5 gauge coils.

Every mattress I've tried I found the coils too hard. Even with a really plush comfort layer, my hips poked through and had pressure pain. I'm hoping the soft coils helps this.

And no, I am not worried about it not lasting. Mine lasted 14 years and just starts issues this year. I also would far rather be comfortable than not for the sake a few years.

Do I take the leap? Beautyrest (Canada) worldclass ultra plush Lusso

I have a years long history of trying to find a mattress to replace my 14 year old beautyrest (Canada) Preston Plush matress. It has been the absolute perfect bed with lots of cushion and softer coils (15.5gauge) to help with my awful pressure points while still holding up hips and stomach when side and stomach sleeping.

The world class lusso is the most similar in their lineup apparently. But I have to buy it sight unseen from wayfair. I'm so nervous abiut that!

Anyone have this matress and have feedback? Or have any thoughts?

Also any recommendations on a waterproof cover?

Thanjs in advance!

15.5 Guage unzoned plush mattress around 800 coil count?

I finally figured out why none of thr beds I looked at felt right in the store. The current bed I have has softer coils than most current beds only has 800 coils and is unzoned.

All of the zoned beds with lower gauge coils hurt my hips. No matter how much pillow top there is my hips dig into the support layer beneath. I'm very short at 5'1 so it may be that the zones aren't in the right place for me.

Does anyone know of any mattresses that would still have some pillow top that would fall in this category?

The Beautyrest beauty sleep has the right coil structure but I'm really worried about the cushion on the mattress

In case anyone's curious the mattress I have now is a super old Beautyrest Preston.

I know. This is super niche, but I'm super desperate and I don't know how to search for this exact thing effectively. Any help is appreciated!

Well, it happened again. Dr. Thinks my mecfs is anxiety.

I'm severe, bedbound. Had to get a new gp last year. He's been great, ordering tests, didn't question my mecfs, filled out Ltd paperwork.

I then got an iron infusion that caused anxiety as a side effect (side note. Never been so sick as the last 4.5 weeks. Can't eat. Lost 25lbs. Any suggestions for that welcome).

Now in the last appointment, he questions my entire disability. Asks me if the reason I'm in bed and in a wheelchair is because something is bothering me.

The last thing I need right now with this additional illness that I don't know if it will go away is this.

I want to cry but it will crash me more.

Any suggestions on what to bring to him? I'm bringing a letter from counsellor and the Canadian Consensus Criteria with my symptoms highlighted.

I'm bedbound and am getting extremely sore hips, worried about pressure sores.

Has anyone used a medical mattress? I'm looking at air ones that inflate and deflate in cycles.

I'd love to hear any feedback. I just need relief from this pain

Are there any private Doctors in Sask? Or other options for the issue below?

Please, I'm desperate for help with a health issue and I'm not getting help from family doctor, ER or urgent care even though what I'm dealing with can be fatal worst case scenario.

I need blood and urine tests done regularly and my doctor won't support it. What I'm asking for is done all the time in other places in Canada and certainly US with what I'm dealing with. I can't travel (too sick) or I'd go to the states.

If anyone has any ideas or recommendations, please, I'm so desperate for help. I'm willing to go broke to save my life.

I'm bedbound. My mattress was perfect, now 14 years old. Beautyrest Preston. Plush, and the coils were a bit softer, so I didn't have pressure points

Now, every mattress that's nice and soft, I poke through on my hips because the coils are too hard, yet I'm concaving on the plush.

Are matress coils just stronger now?

Tried the trillium 50 beautyrest, whcih I'm told is similar to Centennial. Too soft on top and I poke through and get presume points.

Tried the DBs, whcih doesn't have coils. It was too hard.

Tried the Laney, too hard.

The mod 3 beautyrest was closest in the soft coil feeling, but it's a tight top, and that feels a touch too firm

Where do I find a mattress that the coils are supportive, wjthiut giving that hard feeling underneath?

Trying to decide whcih to try first. I'm severe, bedbound.

Just want some screen tolerance back and maybe the ability to lay in my gazebo and enjoy my dogs.

Has anyone tried both? One at a time or at the same time? I'd live to hear thoughts on how to decide or people's experiences.

Thank you! ❤️

Can anyone tell me the less busy times for life labs? I was thinking mid afternoon, but wasn't sure about after 5?

I was also wondering if anyone knows if a requisition does not say standing order, I use it once, but I print out a second one and use it, if they will run the test or cancel it?

Thanks in advance!
