Developed a rash while traveling and looking for answers

Currently traveling (27F) in the Dominican Republic (I’m from Canada). Have had this develop over the last 4 days on both hands; this one is worse. We leave to go home tomorrow and I’m wondering if I need to see a doctor once I’m back, or if this is just sun rash that will rectify itself.

It’s not really itchy or hot from what I can tell. Seems to become more inflamed in the sun and shower. Have tried taking Reactine orally and Benadryl cream and I don’t think either did much. Aloe feels good but doesn’t solve.

MasterClass for HR [N/A]

Has anyone here taken any classes on MasterClass? Looking into some of their business courses, but wondering which ones have been beneficial for other HR professionals.

First time concert goer - help!

I’m seeing Muse for the first time next week with my boyfriend. They are his favourite band and we are going for his birthday. I really only know music from Black Holes and Revelations. I’ve been trying to pick away at the newest album, but would love some input on what else I should familiarize myself with before we go! Thanks! :)

Edit: would also appreciate any general concert tips! I’ve been to plenty of concerts before, but not sure what to expect with this one!

Running with flat feet

I have collapsing arches/flat feet and I can’t find a running shoe that doesn’t cause me pain or discomfort mid run.

The best luck I’ve had so far are the Bondi 9s by Hoka, which a chiropodist recommended, and they are better but still not great.

Any advice?

Gym ladies: where are we getting our matching sets from?

I’ve just started to get back into the gym following some surgeries and I want some new matching sets. Where are we getting cute sets from that actually fit us?

Leggings and shorts are no problem, but I feel like every mainstream brand obviously doesn’t have us in mind. In US sizing, I’m a 38H.

TIA!

Sam ruined Nate Jacobs

I know I’m definitely not the only one who thinks Sam Levinson completely wasted Nate Jacobs as a character, but I need to rant for a minute.

Not defending Nate as a person at all. He’s done objectively awful things. But as a CHARACTER, what was the point of all that setup?!

Seasons 1 and 2 spent so much time building him up: his relationship with his dad, the pressure to perform masculinity, the Jules storyline, his need for control, the hints that underneath all the anger there was actual conflict and vulnerability there. Then season 3 basically turns him into a completely different show’s character and ends his story in a way that feels more like shock value than payoff.

I’m not saying Nate needed redemption or a happy ending. Prison, isolation, losing everyone, confronting himself, literally anything that tied back into who he’s been since season 1. Instead it feels like years of character development got replaced with “how do we make this ending as brutal and memorable as possible?”

Am I missing something or did anyone else feel disappointed by how little his ending actually connected to the themes they built around him? I am so disappointed as his storyline was one of the things that got me interested in the show and now I just feel like I’m scarred.

Is a certain cardio objectively better?

I (27F) have a goal to drastically improve my cardio this summer. I’ve had health issues, physical and mental, for a number of years that has caused me to take a bit of a fall back in my fitness journey so I’m basically starting from scratch. Growing up I was an athlete, and I feel like it needs to come back into my life, but I’m now navigating it somewhat solo as opposed to having a structured program from coaches and such.

I’m new here, and was wondering if there is a certain exercise that is objectively better for improving cardiovascular health. Running? Cycling? Other?

A couple of my friends have just recently started on Runna/Strava, but I’m not sure how much I love running. But it’s also possible that I don’t love running because I’m not great at running currently and haven’t for some time lol.

Open to general input and suggestions! :) TIA
