I've been transcribing some "comprehensible" content from youtube to improve my listening skills, but I find it painfully slow going because trying to rewind a video just a few seconds is challenging. I find myself listening to the same content.I've already transcribed more than once.

So I think a podcast where there's a "thirty second" rewind button and a transcript might be helpful.

I would appreciate podcast recommendations for an A2 student.

Or any other ideas you have for this sort of transcription practice?

I find Anki helpful and I want to maximize my use. I tried the 5K Vocabulary deck on Anki (the one with some questionable images) and pretty quickly decided that I'd rather make my own, especially because I'm convinced that it should be images as the prompt or the side one. I like my deck, so far, , but, of course, it's kind of slow going.

When I listened to a @loistalagrand video, I really liked the idea of his 10,000 word deck as it seems he's included audio with every word. I would have to change every card to an umage as I come across it, but it wouldn't be as much time as creating all my own cards.

However, it costs $200, and I feel as though I should know if there are other decks out there that are equally worthwhile if I'm going to make that investment.

I'm also concerned about whether it's too big and whether if I add my own "sentence or phrase" cards to it whether I will see them. Will Anki put an added card into the study rotation immediately?

I'd appreciate any feedback on this deck or others I should consider.
