Heathrow arrivals lounge in T2/3?

I'm landing in Heathrow T2 at 6am and need to take a shower before heading to work meetings. I'll need to leave Heathrow in a car around 7:30am.

I understand the T2 Plaza Premium arrivals lounge is closed. Are there other arrivals lounges I can use in T2 or T3 for a shower? I'm flying Star Alliance, business class. I have read that there are BA/oneworld arrivals lounges, but those won't be available to me.

Thank you!

How do you store cards while letting your young toddlers (<2 yrs) access them?

Sorry, I know this is probably a really basic question. I just got a Mini for my LO who turns 17 months next week. I'm undecided if I wait till 18 months to give it to her, but probably will not.

I can't figure out what to do with the cards. I know part of the point is to let her decide what she wants to listen to. But if I give her free access to the cards, they will 100% get lost in a toy pile or the dog's mouth in about 30 minutes. What are yall doing for your younger kids? We only have about 5 cards right now.

Thank you very much! I've learned a lot from this community already!

How do I teach my dog to behave like a goalkeeper?

Happy World Cup season! I want to teach my dog to block a soccer ball that is kicked toward a “goalpost” (two cones or whatever I can find).

Curious to know how you would go about this?

I’m thinking:

  1. Teach him to wait in position - this will be easy for us
  2. Teach him to engage with the ball - easy
  3. Teach him to pounce on ball when it moves toward him - easy
  4. Teach him not to bite ball or bring it to me - this will be tricky
  5. Teach him to return to position - maybe use a small towel that he can target

Any suggestions? Also just interested to know how you would go about this because I’m sure there are a hundred ways to teach it - so also looking to spark ideas and learn from different angles!

First ring sling attempt, please help (15 mo 22lbs)

I have a toddler who loves to be up and down - mostly up but likes to look around and have more mobility than our Tula Explore permits.

I got a secondhand Hope and Plum ring sling and would love advice on how to improve the fit - this is literally the first time I put it on, so very little clue what I am supposed to be doing :-)

I struggle with keeping the rings high and to the side - they are pulling toward center it feels like? and it’s still pretty uncomfortable on the shoulder/back. TIA!

If you don't, why not?

If you do, what do you buy at the market vs. at supermarket or online?

Just curious 😄
