Does it make you uncomfortable when they try to give you gifts?

33 F. I’m in “light contact” with my nacmother. My son loves her. So I don’t want to break contact just yet. She keeps trying to give me things and it makes me deeply uncomfortable. Sadly I can’t tell her that or it will be the end of the world.

Can you go on rides?

I as a 33 year-old woman have severe motion sickness that has just gotten worse as I aged I was reading about it and although it is not a trait in autistic people, it is more common with us due to sensory issues. so I wanted to see how common it was with y’all? Can you go on rides? Are you OK on car rides? images make you sick?

I was reading that when talking to autistic people you are supposed to give us like six seconds to process something.
I’ve never been quick to answer a question l.apparently Neurotypical people are thinking of an answer before someone is done asking the question. If I take more than a few seconds than other people tend to answer for me and it pisses me off.
I can talk. I don’t need someone to explain my thoughts just give me a few seconds.

This might seem like a silly question, but here we go.
I have really good pattern recognition I’d say it’s one of my biggest strengths . I also read tarot cards for fun. I personally live by that saying “if you don’t learn history, then you’re doomed to repeat it.” I do my best to pay attention to people and their habits as a way to connect. Then I end up scaring them because I know what they’re gonna say or do next.
