First time visitor: what types of food does Denver do better than anywhere?

Doing a quick trip in mid June for concert at Red Rocks. 4 guys, all first timers to Denver visiting from LA.

Would love your thoughts on what types of cuisines we should target. Like if anyone visited LA, I’d insist they get Mexican, Korean, breakfast burritos…things i know we do top tier compared to the rest of the country (i’m not opening the can of worms and saying we’re the best at anything though lol).

Been crawling this sub for suggestions, much appreciated!

Franzl’s Franks at Smorgasborg: a juicy, snappy, cheesy jumbo Vienna sausage served in a closed, pillowy bolillo.

I really appreciated how the bolillo was hallowed out and not cut open so you can walk around eating with one hand no problem. Hallowing out a bolillo is simple genius, as it’s basically soft french bread that’s super easy to bite through while holding the juices, ketchup and mustard.

Definite hidden gem at Smorgasborg! Plus the owner is a former opera singer who did drag so he’ll belt out opera at any time which is kinda hilarious.

Aday Mara is 7’3” and a 7’7” wingspan. This video shows his exceptional court vision and you could see him hitting cutters all day in Kerr’s system.

Offense: shot 75% in half court offense. Extremely soft touch with great hook shots and angles. Excellent offensive rebounder. Court vision you can’t teach. Universally viewed as a very high IQ skilled offensive player.

Defense: Strong rim protector averaging over 2.5 bpg.

Cons: no range, bad free throw shooter. Cannot defend on the perimeter (naturally). Needs to get stronger with better conditioning.

Player comps: less physical Zach Edey, Donavan Clingan who can’t shoot.

Fit for the Warriors: this team loves high IQ players and Mara is exactly that. His passing will fit like a glove in Kerr’s system, and when he’s in the game teams won’t kill us with offensive rebounds and flying to the rim.

He won’t be a 35mpg player for a few years (if he ever is), but you can see how he could be immediately useful for 15mpg with the ability to change the momentum of games when he’s in.

I’ve always been enamored with centers, and Mara seems uniquely fitted to the Warriors needs and strengths.
