Got a question about some very narrowly defined ingredients and wondering if there are any FDA or legal experts hiding in this sub?
Trying to come up with my own electolyte mix and have been looking for fun flavored concentrates to use. I had originally ordered from Get Suckered and OOO (same company btw) but just had a pretty bad experience with their customer service telling me to use 4x the actual amount of product and then blowing me off when I questioned the amount so looking for a new supplier.
Looking for bright fun flavors similar to what you would find in Kool Aid but uncolored.
Any suggestions?
This is Rory Dinosaury. She is with me as a permanent resident due to a spinal issue that makes it impossible for her to fully use her front arms.
I am permitted to have her by my state.
She has grown up with me and been with me constantly since she was about 6 weeks old. For the first two weeks she was in a coma following a 30 foot fall from a pine tree onto a driveway.
When she finally woke up we discovered she had no upper arm mobility. Multiple vet visits, x rays and even a consultation with a spine specialist later we determined she most likely has either a ruptured or bulging disc putting pressure on her nerves.
The prognosis is good but long. Gentle therapy and lots of patience. She has learned to adapt and walks around on her hind legs with her front legs tucked up like a little T Rex (hence the Rory Dinosaury name).
She has become my constant companion and until my contract finished up last friday, had been coming to work with me every day.
Now we are home together while I look for my next gig (preferably one where she can come with me again). In between applying for jobs she and I snuck in a nap today.
Seriously, these little fuzznuts are such a joy. I don't know what I would do without them in my life.
:)
I finally got a *big* ticket item. And yes, I am silver and this was only $48 but to me and my crew it is by far the best item we have gotten so far.
After months of weird suggestions in my feed (who TF needs a fridge condenser motor? Much less four versions?!) I finally struck gold. And so did my backyard buddies.
Just hit submit on my review. Now to figure out the best spot for this big boy!
Had the AC cranked the whole hour ride to the venue and everything in a cooler packed with ice but we made it!
Gotta love doing chocolate work in July in Idaho.
2 tier black chocolate cake with homemade chocolate ganache filling and chocolate fudge frosting. Decorated with hand molded white chocolate roses dusted with edible glitter and organic mint from my family's garden.
I also made 100 individual parfait cups for the guests to enjoy made from the same chocolate cake layered with ganache, homemade mousse and topped with chocolate fudge frosting and more organic mint and a chocolate rose.
Got to the venue, had the cake out just long enough to take photos and then back in the fridge until after the ceremony.
Did the whole project in 8 hours between 8pm and 3am when it finally dropped in temp to about 95° F.
Made for a friend who basically paid just for the supplies and the rest was my wedding gift to the couple. :)
Ugh. Summer in Idaho is rough!
Helicopter bucket brigade is on the job!
Already had several water trucks head up Crestline. Standing by at my parents place in case we have to evacuate. So far it seems to be moving away from us. Hoping that holds true.
Made for a senior directing class way back in 2012. Just uncovered in my storage unit and decided to display it properly.
This is Princess Aurora (on the right). She is staying with me while she recovers from a spinal injury she got falling from her nest in a pine tree.
That is Coco on the left. Yes I know she is a Lafufu. My only real Bubu is sitting and I needed her standing so I could measure.
Aurora needs a bean bag chair to support her and hold her upright while her body heals. Labubu beanbags on Amazon are the perfect size.
Labubu for scale.
