Sneak peek of some of the things I have been working on behind the scenes. My second run of MILC 2.0 compatible shells will be sent out in the next 60 days. The new shells will be standardized dimensionally with benglesbullets MILC shells ID and OD. I will adjust my projectile line to match the proper dimensions and I will have them released on my Odysee page soon. I have made a 3d printed solution for use with my inserts which will be arriving soon as well for smokeless blank use. The inserts will be available from myself and possibly benglesbullets as well for DIY home printing gurus to spin up whatever they can dream of. I will also be putting up a newly designed MILC 2.0 compatible base and Insert compatible base for use with the 1.5” 17 gauge brass tubing based rounds. This should allow you to construct smokeless powered shells for about $9 ea in material costs. Will also be doing more video and distance and accuracy testing soon - once my hay is cut and bailed in my field. If you haven’t already please follow my YouTube channel to catch all the new testing and eval. Thanks !!
140 yards with all 3d printed- reloadable - shell test. 50/50 777 pyrodex pellet over Remington STS 209 primer. Custom pusher for fireworks stand 1.25” cardboard tube. Back of wood line is 220 yards from my pool deck.
1st video -100 yards 3 oz 3d printed DixieThumper Cobray safe line, second video same load but 4oz slug 175feet.
Friend just sent this to me. I don’t know anything about when this happened or if true. But if so damn….
The other day I expended all my loaded smokes. I had two that did not go off properly. I found out the FW stand smoke mix uses mineral oil or some other type of oil base to create more volume with less mix. Pretty sure it ruined the blast charge. Either way the 209 primers alone were enough to light the fuse and eject the smoke from the launcher if only a few feet. 😎👍
BLUF - 120 yards with 50gr load of 777. Fireworks stand smoke bombs loaded in 209 casing. Underwhelming but still fun. We had a ton of rain today so safe to test it.
Added this new stock. I like it a lot. Was going to swap my old speedfeed off the 500 to this one. But buddy showed me his yesterday and I ordered from Amazon and got it today! Love the LOP and the extra five rounds ready to Tac load! Tube has 5 Buck. Stock 5 slugs. Little over two months.
Been working on my redesign to an all uniquely DT designed pusher and nose cone for chalk rounds from the 212 (and other type) cases. Finally dialed this one in and will test thoroughly to see how she performs through multiple platforms. Goal is a reusable cheap alternative to the zinc pushers and a more durable nose cone that still breaks on impact but not in the barrel. Will be sending these out to my testers to shoot from m79/203 and Milkor launchers. I will test from the Penn arms. 😎👍. These still use a metal plate in the rear and two glue plugs to help with weight and shock absorption. Still not going to stand up to the full power blanks but should fair well with the 5 grain bullseye general power or the RWS 9x17r Yellow power blanks with gas checks just fine from the 212 type casings with .250 vent hole.

Stated “fits like a glove”. Customer review.
I think I have a workable affordable solution. Price point is somewhere around $6-7 total per rd. Not cheap, but cheap as I will be able to get them. Smokeless 9x17r/380r blank. They are gas checked.
Would be nice if it goes through.
These things are heavy duty! Just be careful popping the 209 primer out. One was stuck so bad I had to drill it out. Primer pocket was fine though. I have the appropriate sized bits. Not sure what I will load in these. May be good for an improv fireworks round.
Decided to make this for those still waiting to pick up the MILC 2.0 cores when they become available. Will do some testing this weekend. Fully expect only a few uses max per unit but they are cheap to print. 209 primer unit fits in rear of shell. Pyrodex pellet cup fit on top inside shell and super glues to the pellet tower. Use 50gr pyrodex pellets with some tissue or foil over the pellet. Projectile shown is my own as well as my 2.0 MILC aluminum shell. The inserts should work in all 2.0 MILC bases and designs. Inside diameter needs to be at least 36mm.
Just messing around with the LED light model and my MILC 2.0 compatible shells. Need more cores Launcher pope! 🤣😎👍
I got these four. On top of the other 3 in process. Yes. I am a 40mm hoe. 🤣🤣. I had to buy at the prices though. I am sure they will look at the transfers and think what the H lol. Thank goodness everyone it seems has like 50 form 1s pending 🤣🤣🤣
Test at 100 yards chalk filled aerial signal device. 50 grains pyrodex 777 lift charge and little less than 1/4 oz 777.
Working on the final product lines. These are 209/pyrodex 777 DIY kits. You add the powder and the primer. Will be sold in 6 packs with one of each color. 😎👍 Smokeless version coming. Still T&E on those.
Danny - reach out to me if you want to. I have been messing with these launchers and ammo for the better part of 30 years.
If I were to design an under-mounted 37mm launcher - one thing I would incorporate is a double action trigger with rebounding firing pin. Another thing is I would skip the extractor in lieu of shell rim finger grab cuts. I would make the top rail of the launcher side loading and reversible so you could flip it 180 degrees and load from either left or right side.
Bore would be 38mm. Chamber would be the same and absolutely no steps in the barrel from breach face to muzzle.
This will enable maximum use of available loads out there.
Breach face should be flat. No cups. 43mm is the magic number for rim diameter. Shell should sit in the barrel and barrel should have rim recess cut.
Y’all taking notes?

Working on these for one of the peeps here. Loving the fit of these. Still have a bit more to do with it but should be done this week! Then have to test fire. Idea is to put Infrared LED light inside so you can shoot at night with NODS. 😎😁👍
