They have internalized sexism, I replaced it with internalized ageism long ago.

They try too hard to be edgy, I try too hard not to be edgy.

I noticed that people in this sub use the INFJ-A and INFJ-T labels, which I'm pretty sure you can only get on the 16Personalities website. Do you trust that specific test? Why or why not?

I see people praising its psychological and philosophical depth and its complex themes, but it just feels one-dimensional to me. Characters who are praised by the community as well-written, like Dazai and Ranpo, honestly seem kind of unrealistic, especially considering their absurd level of intelligence. I know I'm probably looking at this wrong, or maybe I just don't have enough life experience to understand. But seriously, what am I missing?

(I also don't get some of the popular ships, like Soukoku, and RanPoe kind of seems toxic to me)

Edit: People have asked me if I only watched the anime. I didn't watch the anime or the movie, but I did read the manga and the Dead Apple manga adaptation. I usually don't read manga, though, so that might be part of the reason why.

Can you all share some examples of OCD fakers so I can convince myself I don't have it? I feel like I'm going to end up self-diagnosing and I'm a teenager, so that would be very helpful and make me feel a lot better. Thanks.

I'm really curious about tropes and stereotypes in fiction, and I've been thinking about how I could write a parody of stereotyped characters, but this time make them neurotypical AF! Do you have any suggestions? This seemed like the right place to post it, but I understand if it's not right for this sub and mods delete it.

I love Karl so much! I want to adopt him. I would take much better care of him than his current owner, and, unlike Poe, I wouldn't let my crush distract me. He would always come first. Out of all the Bungou Stray Dogs characters, he is the one who I would hate the most for torturing my favorites. I can (kind of) forgive Fyodor and John for harming characters I like because they're decently written, but I don't care how complex a character is or if they're one of my favorites-- if someone hurts Karl, I will hate them with every fiber of my being.

I'll probably regret this tomorrow, but I'm half asleep right now and I don't care 😃
