It mentions only five "part-title black and white scraperboard illustrations", but in the sixth photo, you can see a double-page map. The mass-market hardback also has plenty of photos.
CCoD is now my favorite piece of Dimension20 content. I laughed so hard, so many times. I was sad to hear there's only 2 episodes left. Any hope for a season 2?
I was not interested the first 500 times. Happy for the HP fans. But I moved to other things over a decade ago.
Really pleased to finally see the sequel to this duelogy...hope people are getting their first access emails already.
Author of "More Everything Forever" Adam Becker had Kim Stanley Robinson on his podcast. Kim Stanley Robinson wrote the very optimistic "Ministry for the Future" and I was curious what his thoughts were on our current state of affairs. They talk about tech bros misreading science fiction around 34:00.
At 39:00, after mentionning Ender's Game, he also mentions a recent science fiction book where "you're Jesus, but try not to become Hitler along the way"... I wonder if he meant Sun Eater.
Episode 3: Science Fiction, with Kim Stanley Robinson
It's also available on other podcast apps.
Peter F. Hamilton signing endpapers of Helium Sea
Questions :
For the previous book (Archimedes Engine) were there books remaining for the general sale?
Is there a reason why books like Children of Strife, Last Contract of Isako are announced way in advance on their socials, and not Helium Sea?
