They pushed it off the active track onto a siding and set up our towns first library 5 minute walk from my house - fondly remember the walk down the tracks to go to reading hour as a kid. Image is from the B&O museum in Ellicott City Maryland but it looked exactly like that. If you get to Maryland go to Ellicott City, the museum is fantastic if you like train history
