Put a new bracelet on my 50th anniversary Orient. Milanese mesh. What do you think?
I wish I had a piece for that gap...

I wish I had a piece for that gap...
Couple weeks ago, I found out that this Tudor Heritage Chronograph was in auction. This piece was made in 2014 and had a fuller service done by Tudor authorized watchmaker. I grabbed it and finally got it after cruciating battle between some other bloke. Now it is mine... MINE!!
Casual occasion, family dinner.
Got it from auction. Full set. Lovely watch.
It really has a good feeling on my wrist. It could be a tad bigger?
I have heard that there was a short period of time that Orient made "Royal" class watches. Before the star class. It was ment to be rival for Grand Seiko. Anyone else knows more of this? Photos maybe?
Having breakfast today and happened to take this pic. It think Yema is so underestimated and probably for reason. But this diver is such a cool tool. I love how the bezel is locked in place with this genius system attached to the crown. So simple but so effective.
I love this watch. It is such a clear and interesting timepiece. The dial is so easy to read in a glance. The movement runs perfectly. Meca-quartz marriage made in heaven, it has apparently 24 jewels. Lume is strong and lasts all night long. The chronograph has double second hands . First one for seconds and then the other for minutes. Very interesting complication.
She needs bit more love and affection. Like date wheel and crown. She keeps phenomenal time though.
I have Vintage Eterna's and Eternamatic's. Just got this Kontiki quartz and it feels like a million bucks. Anyone else who likes Eterna?
I WON THIS! In auction. Full set from 2024. I am overwhelmed with this².
As a Seiko and Grand Seiko owner, my standards for dial work and finishing are pretty high. I recently ordered this Orient Star from Singapore, and wow... it has completely blown me away.
Why this dial is absolute fire:
The Dial & Hands: The deep blue dial is incredibly crisp. The hands feature multiple bevels and different levels of polishing that catch the light beautifully.
The Indices: The Roman numerals give it a serious touch of prestige. Every single index is raised, featuring razor-sharp angles and flawless polishing that create a lively, shifting hue with every movement of the wrist.
The Layout: The signature power reserve indicator adds amazing depth without cluttering the symmetry.
I knew Orient Star made great watches, but the level of execution on this piece punches way above its price point. It’s hard to capture in a photo just how dynamic this thing is in person.
What do you guys think?
