Help in San Diego, CA

Good day to you all,

My name is Mike. I’m a disabled Army Veteran dealing with ongoing service-related injuries, especially in my neck and shoulders, that have significantly limited my mobility and flexibility.

I’m reaching out humbly because I’m in a difficult position right now. The VA is still processing my care, and I currently don’t have the means to pay out of pocket. At the same time, I’m doing everything I can to continue working and staying functional—but without relief, it’s becoming harder each day.

Massage therapy has been one of the only things that truly helps me manage the pain and keep moving. It’s not a luxury for me—it’s something that directly impacts my ability to function and provide for myself.

If there’s any chance you’d be willing to help—whether that’s a complimentary session, or even being pointed in the right direction would mean a lot to me.

Thank you for taking a moment to read this. I truly appreciate your time and consideration.

Very Respectfully,

Michael

Give Retired and Disabled Veterans Serve

Who Better to Train the Next Generation Than Those Who’ve Already Served?

The actual subject line should have read: Allow Retired and Disabled Veterans to Serve again

America has thousands of retired Veterans and medically retired service members with decades of real-world military experience, leadership, and lessons learned. Why aren’t we using them more?

Imagine creating a nationwide program where Veterans continue serving—not on the battlefield, but in the classroom, on the training grounds, and as mentors.

They could:

  • Teach military customs and traditions.
  • Mentor young Soldiers through the challenges of military life.
  • Instruct land navigation, maintenance, physical readiness, leadership, resilience, and professional development.
  • Help reduce preventable mistakes by sharing hard-earned experience.
  • Provide guidance on integrity, discipline, teamwork, and servant leadership.

Many Veterans still have a strong desire to serve. Even those who can no longer deploy because of injuries often have invaluable knowledge that should never be lost.

Instead of allowing that experience to retire with them, let’s invest in the next generation by putting those Veterans back to work in training, mentoring, and developing tomorrow’s leaders.

This isn’t just about creating jobs.

It’s about preserving institutional knowledge, strengthening readiness, honoring those who served, and ensuring our newest Soldiers receive mentorship from men and women who have actually lived it.

Our military has always been built on passing knowledge from one generation to the next. Let’s make that a priority again.

What do you think? Should the Department of Defense create more paid opportunities for retired and disabled Veterans to mentor and train the next generation of service members?

The greatest legacy a Veteran can leave isn’t just what they accomplished in uniform—it’s who they prepare to wear it next.

Looking for a Massage Therapist

I need someone to help me out.

I need a massage therapist to work on me at least once a week. The VA pays for one through a community provider but, I need at least two during the week so I can work, no joke. It is that serious.

You don’t have to be a professional. However, you definitely need to have a massage table. I’ll be willing to trade my services for yours, I’m a professional driver that provides personal security for individuals and families. Please DM me. I really need your help. If you’re going to send me places that come out of my pocket, I can’t afford them. I can’t even afford a discounted rate. All I can do is trade my services for yours.

Father’s Day

Father’s Day

As Father’s Day approaches, I am reminded of loss. The lack of communication because of some sins

in my life. The loss of one of my Daughters, due to addiction. The loss of not being able to talk with my two oldest Son’s, and my Grandchildren.

As a Father, given that title by God Himself, it’s overwhelming at times.

Husband, Father, Grandfather. One of the greatest responsibilities we can be given. As a Christian Father, making the mistakes I’ve made, has been and is hard on me. As I see the Lord working in my life, one step at a time, it is clear that Faith, Obedience, Humility, Surrender, and Sacrifice, has moved me forward on the path God has for me.

You know what else gets better?

Your relationships. Your Friendships. You’re walk with the Lord. You really feel His calling in every aspect of your life, overwhelming so, trust me.

I’ll be honest with you all. Father’s Day for me will not be complete, until I see my family united, under one roof, in His name. I suffer daily as a Husband and Father, knowing what could have been, “IF”. That’s when I take a knee as a Soldier and Warrior, in humility, at the feet of Jesus and ask for forgiveness, healing, hope, peace, and provision.

I lay those at His feet. My head bowed. My eye’s closed, in reverence and fear of the Lord. I’m not scared or frightened of the Lord. I think it’s more of, I’m sorry for not obeying you for most of my life.

Remember, it’s what I’m going through.

I know the answers to my questions and fear’s. I hope this helped someone out there. I’m an average Joe, letting you know, we all go through it. However, we never go through it alone.

Father’s Day

A MESSAGE TO PARENTS, GRANDPARENTS, AND FAMILIES

Every morning, parents drop their children off at school and trust that someone will be there if something goes wrong.

Every weekend, families gather at parks, churches, sporting events, birthday parties, and community functions believing they will return home safely.

Most of the time, they do.

But safety is not an accident.

It exists because someone is paying attention.

As a husband, father, grandfather, U.S. Army NCO, veteran, and security professional, I have spent more than 16 years serving others and standing watch over people, places, and communities.

I have learned that the greatest threats are often the ones no one sees coming.

The distracted driver.

The medical emergency.

The suspicious behavior everyone else overlooked.

The situation that starts small and becomes something much bigger.

My purpose is simple:

To be the person paying attention when everyone else is enjoying the moment.

Not to create fear.

Not to alarm people.

But to provide peace of mind.

I believe our children deserve protection.

I believe our elderly deserve protection.

I believe our churches deserve protection.

I believe our communities deserve protection.

And I believe that when trouble appears, there should be people willing to move toward it—not away from it.

If your family, church, organization, school event, youth activity, neighborhood gathering, or special event could benefit from a professional safety-minded presence, I would be honored to serve.

Because at the end of the day, there is nothing more valuable than knowing the people you love made it home safely.

John 15:13
“Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.”
