I'm taking on the task of archiving all our family photos and getting the hang of Synology photos, which seems really good.

As there are hundreds of photos I wanted to check if I am doing things the most efficient way.

I'm scanning them with an Epson Fastfoto to my Mac and then uploading into Synology Photos and organising into albums from there.

Is there a way to scan directly on to the NAS or am I doing this the correct way ?

The crisper plates for our Ninja AF400 have lost most of their coating and the round bit in the middle has broken away.

Are there any third party alternatives that are better quality? It's just out of warranty so Ninja don't want to know.

I'm reluctant to buy another set from them as they don't seem that good for the price.

Had 1gb for a little over a year and to be honest it’s been great. Rock solid with no noticeable outages. I’ve just noticed the last couple of days though that speeds only seem to be around 500mb. This is on both on Wired and WiFi connected devices and the same at peak or off peak times.
Hub 5 says I’m still connected at 1gb and everything to my untrained eye looks normal so was going to reach out to support for any ideas but not sure who to contact for the best ?
It’s not really noticeable on normal day today stuff like streaming etc but downloaded a game off the PlayStation store and it seemed much slower than normal so I began doing tests.
It’s still a reliably solid connection but want to make sure I’m getting what I’m paying for. Thanks.

I picked up one of these cameras at the weekend on offer just to upgrade a Solocam C210. No issues with it just fancied going 4k.
I added it to my Homebase no problem but then I noticed a few issues. The camera only live streamed within two feet of the Homebase. Any further away and it loses connection.
In the cameras settings there are no WiFi options selectable like there are for my trusty old C210 and also there is no option to use the Homebase as storage only NAS.
Anyone know what the problem could be or what I’m doing wrong ? Had zero troubles with my existing Solocam or Eufy doorbell as regards connectivity and range.

I purchased a Delonghi Magnifica plus and have been fairly pleased with it but at the time of buying I didn't realise there are different versions of the machine and mine doesn't have a Cortado or Latte recipe option.

Is there a workaround for making a half decent Cortado?
