How many of you have rage-ripped off their pod because it wouldn't shut up? Be honest.
EDIT: I mean at the end of the pods life, when it's telling you that it's almost empty or expiring soon. Like the beep-beeeeeep, beep-beeeeeeep.

I have a vinyl fence with vinyl gates. When the wind blows the gate shut it can snap off the latch. The gate opens out with the hinges and latch on the out-side of the gate. What can I do to add resistance to the close to avoid slamming? I can't find any soft close hinges

Just had a pixel update. Suddenly it is taking forever to sync photos and gives me this message. It also started draining my battery. Anyone else? Whats up?
Takes forever for new photos to sync. Take a pic then go to view it in photos app and i get these messages. Anyone else?
On my Napoleon 3-burner grill, One of my knobs and trim melted (don't ask) the gas valve is pooched. Can anyone tell me where i can find a replacement valve with a 5" thrower and 45 degree valve stem? All the ones on Amazon have 2.1" igniter throws.
Sump discharge
The builder of our house decided to put the sump discharge pipe immediately adjacent the foundation in the Backyard exactly where a reasonable person would put their patio. When we first moved in the sump never ran at all. Now that we've poured a concrete patio it is running 4-5 times per day, discharging at least 4 gallons each time. Our soil is very clay rich glacial till. We live in Canada so our frost line goes very deep in the winter. It's against code here to pump it into the sewer stack I am out of ideas of what to do. Suggestions?

have a TP-Link Deco X20 mesh setup. We live in a two story house. Our IP modem is in the basement. There are ethernet ports all over the house. I have one of the deco pods plugged into one of them in the kitchen on the main floor. The second one I have upstairs, but all it does is repeat or piggy back off of the kitchen one. How can I plug in the second one to improve coverage?
Also I have one security camera that is closer to the Deco on the second floor but it insists on connecting to the one on the main floor even though the connection is poor. How do I tell it to be smarter and pick the one upstairs?
Was anyone there? Does anyone know the details?
Saskatchewan Canada here. Hot ass summers cold ass winters. Why hasn't some HVAC wiz somewhere made it easy to get the cool basement air in the summer and exchange with the sweltering air on the Second story? This would save so much money in AC power costs. Maybe there is a good way? And home builders are just too cheap and lazy to do it?
We had our patio poured a couple of years ago. They Said we should go with the "smooth finish". We didn't really think about it and agreed. Now we almost break our necks whenever we walk on it when it's wet .
Yeah, I know, we fd up. We should have done x or y or asked for z. Too late. But has anyone ever had their concrete resurfaced to improve grip? Did you do it yourself? Did it work? Did you hire someone?
Looking for recommendations. Thx.
Weird tiny bubble in/on camera lens on P9P?
When I try to take a photo using the regular camera there is this tiny circle in the field of view. It moves with the phone as i move it around, suggesting that there is something on the lens. But there isn't. It's perfectly clear. It appears in the photos too. Anyone else have this happen?
Id Post a pic but apparently i can't here. Which is stupid. When I try to take a photo using the regular camera there is this tiny circle in the field of view. I have the CKRT M16 01KZ black powder coated folding knife. The assisted open function of the knife seems to be failing. When i pull back on the knurled finger knob, the blade only half opens, like there's friction or something stopping it from snapping open like my M16-13Z. I took it apart and cleaned everything so there's no dust or grease in there but it still doesn't have the snap it used to.
Can anyone recommend a fix?
I don't know who else to ask and I'm sorry for the long post.. if you know anything about insulation in cold regions, please read and help-
Our home was built in 2022. The basement has poured concrete walls with waterproofing painted below grade on the Outside and inside. It is unfinished but the perimeter walls were insulated and vapor barriered. We live in Canada our winters are cold. The perimeter walls are 2x4 studs 16"oc. The base plates were set about 2 inches away from the poured concrete wall. They used thick r20 insulation batts.
We started getting tiny puddles forming around the baseplates. In winter following odd warm periods. We thought it was coming from Outside. I opened the barrier and removed a batt of insulation to find the whole wall was soaked. This was the case for every wall. Fast forward, the consensus is that it was condensation build up due to the temperature difference between the inside air and the concrete. The insulators had the batts touching both the concrete wall and the vapor barrier with no air space. From what everyone says, thats a no-no.
So - the home builder agreed to redo it. BUT i dont know if their solution is the right one or if its a shortcut or if its completely wrong. The email from the builder is below;
"Yes a 2x4 is made for R12 insulation but when you leave the studs away from the wall you can put a R20 into the stud cavities as you have space behind the studs
We will not be installing any Styrofoam as that has been tried with no success.
Our plan is to install typar to the concrete from grade level down and then install 1 layer of insulation horizontally behind the studs. Then another layer of insulation will be installed vertically between the stud cavities and then the wall will bepolyed.
We would need access to the house on Thursday to install the typar and deliver the insulation and poly
Friday (company) would come to insulate and poly the basement"
Please let me know your thoughts!
Loved the book and enjoying the Netflix version. Harvey Bullock from Gotham is always how I pictured Hodges in my mind. But Gleeson is a good choice, the accent is kind of throwing me off though
I'm using the stock reveal face on my PW4 because it has so many complications spots. But i think its responsible for showing a dim ambient clock when i tilt to view. Is this the cause? Anyone else have this issue? Is there a fix? Is there a similar watch face that doesn't have to start with the ambient face first?
