Why was Roger so judgmental about Don being a cannibal?
Looking for neo-traditional artist in New England
I'm looking for an experienced neo-traditional (including anyone with a creative take on neo-trad) artist in New England, preferably in NH/VT/MA/ME.
Need help choosing FIR panels
I'm planning to build my own two-person IR sauna in my basement, and the thing that's got me bewildered is the choice of panels. I'm pretty sure I want FIR carbon, but I have no idea what brand to get or where to purchase them. Can anyone give me some recommendations?
Don felt so untouchable in the first three seasons that he believed Betty would never find out his secret and would just stay in her place. The Suzanne in the car situation proves he didn't care about consequences. But at that point, would it have even mattered? Betty was already completely tired.
Is this the most irredeemably despicable character in the entire show?
A simple formula for posting to r/okbuddydraper
Step 1: Go to r/madmen
Step 2: Sort by "New"
Step 3: Click the crosspost carousel button, and choose r/okbuddydraper
Step 4: It's toasted
"Sparse" ambient music recommendations?
I'm looking for ambient music recommendations where there is a decent amount of silence (or at least much quieter than other parts). In the vein of Wandelweiser, but not quite as extreme as that gets (often the Wandelweiser stuff has too much silence for my taste). I want variation in dynamics. Bandcamp links preferred, particularly because it's Bandcamp Friday.
What is night two? It's a moment before you need night three.
My jaw was on the floor, Joanie had the best line ever
Totally new to this, no clue if this is worth much of anything
I randomly was suggested this sub recently and enjoy perusing it, but I know nothing about coins. Is this dime at all noteworthy?
How bad is this? (Exposed MC cable)
I installed a track light in my kitchen and ran MC cable to it from a junction box. The bottom of that beam is about 95 inches above the floor. Is this use of MC cable definitely a no-no, or is it a judgment call about whether it's exposed to physical damage?
Mystery wire left by prior owner
Context: partially finished basement, and this bit of romex was left exposed in the mechanical room by the prior owner. I finally got around to figuring out what circuit it's on, and from what I can tell there's simply no power going to it. I started by turning off the panel, and all individual breakers. Then I turned the panel back on and checked this wire against each individual breaker. There was no power to this wire, even when I had all the breakers on. The other end of this wire goes up to the ceiling then behind the finished part of the basement, with lots of important stuff in between so I can't physically trace it further without doing a LOT of work. Anyway, my question is whether there's an approved method of dealing with this wire in the code? My town doesn't have an inspector, nor a building department or even a way to pull permits, and I'm not going to pay an electrician to come out here just to tell me to put a cover on the box or whatever (also, getting people to even come out to the sticks isn't easy). If it matters, the electrical in this house was almost certainly not done by a pro in the first place, so who knows what's going on at the other end of this wire.
"Your brother Billy, whatever happened there"
Those six words by Little Carmine led to the war that got many people killed (and that temporarily turned Phil into a house). Think of the bloodshed that directly resulted from that off-hand statement...can anything else in the series come close in so few words?
If this subreddit were about to be shut down but you got to make one last comment, what would it be?
