Holi is one of the world’s most colorful festivals, but I started wondering where all those colors end up after people wash them off.
I spent some time reading about synthetic dyes, heavy metals, and how they can affect rivers like the Yamuna. While industrial pollution is obviously a much bigger issue, festival waste can still add to the burden in some places.
