Hi all,

I just wanted to get some of your opinions with using my Avios!

I currently have around 350k Avios + 30k Amex points I can convert too.

I have the BA Premium Amex and have a companion voucher up to business class.

I wanted to fly to Australia, ideally Sydney using my points for me and my partner and wanted it to be super special as I was hoping to propose!

I liked the idea of flying out to Sydney from LGW/LHR December 2027 and proposing new years in Sydney.

I know these will be incredibly difficult to book, so wanted to get some help/feedback.

I originally wanted to transfer my Avios to Qatar and fly via their QSuite but I have seen the flexi prices are double meaning I will need 700k points. I struggle to find the normal tickets even now let alone in December. Do you think it’s worth trying Qatar and flying via another airport such as Perth?

Alternatively should I try to book with BA? My concern is the cabins and service look a little dated from YouTube videos and I wanted this to be special given the circumstances and we likely will never get the chance to fly at this class again!

If it’s too unrealistic, should I aim for US flights instead? The goal is a nice holiday with a scenic location to propose and Sydney at new years seemed to tick a lot of those boxes and was on the bucket list.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

OG sets value

I have so many of the OG sets from 2002+ but I have too many to actually go through, most are European versions but can anyone advise which sets are most valuable and worth checking first?

The sets I have are:

What’s this on my finger? ChatGPT says herpes or possibly reaction from plants?

I had a sharp cut like pain on my finger and thought it was a splinter so sucked it but then looked and saw whatever the heck this was.

I thought it could be a reaction as I went for a walk in the woods so maybe some type of plant but I also put it into ChatGPT and it said it could be herpes. I went to a carboot sale today and it’s only appeared today so worried from handling playing cards I got something!

Any help is appreciated!!

Worth grading? (Red eyes b dragon lob)

The sleeve has a little bit of dust on it so I have zoomed into the areas with slight scuffs. They are only really on the edges in the middle white marks is dust.

Any advice on predicted grades would be great!

Deathliger

I have a mint condition death liger and want to get it graded. I know in both Duel Master and Yu-Gi-Oh grading isn’t super popular but I think it could get a grade 10 and like the idea of having something graded for myself as a memento!

What would you choose to grade and who would you trust to scrutinise the best? I heard a Beckett 10 was more difficult than a PSA 10, but looking for some help here!

Also not for the purpose of selling it necessarily but has anyone ever seen or heard of a BGS 10 death liger?

LOB Red Eyes B Dragon 1st Edition - Worth grading?

So for context I am panicking, I put a few of the my old cards on reddit and people mentioned this was valuable, I didn't realise how valuable until I googled it!

I saw most of the graded 8+ ones going for excess of £1k. But I have never graded anything, is this grade worthy and could anyone give a guess on what they think it would get?

Anything of value in my old collection?

Sorry for the terrible photos and the big crinkles are the bad quality sleeves not on the cards. Some have slightly feathered edges.

Also I have a stack of holos and 1st editions probably 100-200 from the early 2000s if there is anything I should keep an eye out for!

Any help with these is great, also is it worth getting and graded?

Old cards help

Hi all,

I know literally nothing about duel masters, when I was a child my mum brought me a pack instead of yugioh and they have gone until now never opened.

They came in this box and I have these holographic. Are they valuable and is there anything else I should look for in the pack that isn’t a holographic that has value?

I have put them from the box into sleeves but the sleeves are a bit crinkled so be aware the pictures aren’t perfect because of that!

Help with 1st edition Team Rocket Holo Oddish!

Hi All,

I want to preface by saying I know practically nothing about cards, I collected yu-gi-oh and Pokemon cards as a child but don't actually know anything more than collecting the cards I thought looked cool.

I went through my storage and found I have a huge stack of both including 1st edition cards.

I am trying to use ChatGPT to help me find if they are valuable or rare, but it basically said the holo of the team rocket card doesn't exist.

Like I say I know nothing about this but I only ever opened them from packs from memory and barely traded them at school.

If it's not clear from the image the background of the Oddish is shiny and holographic (think thats the right word?)

Is this a genuine card and if so is it rare/valuable?

Any help is appreciated!
