Checked Bag - Its Been Years - Pls Help!

Wife and I are flying to Spain next Friday with Air France. Although we are not new to LAX and not new to traveling internationally, it has been over a decade since we have checked a bag so I am seeking answers and clarification.

To complicate matters, will be taking the Pacific Surfliner from San Diego arriving at 4:57pm then taking the fly away bus. We can not take an earlier train. In my experience the wait for the bus varies and the ride time to LAX has been 30-40 minutes depending on traffic.

We do have TSA Precheck + Global Entry and now I am contemplating enrolling us in Clear+. I guess my concern or question is, given that our flight departs at 9pm, and our travel to LAX via the Amtrak and the flyaway bus, do we have enough time to check our bags to make it to our gate?

Heard Clips Like This Belong Here?

This dude talking the entire time sounded like he ran into a rat? After that from the sound of it he downed him then just hurled slurs.

Landing In Medellin In VR - PS5!

Continuing through South America, I figured why not give MDE a go? And having visited in real life this was one just as special as Cusco!

I came in high and you can hear me acknowledge this on my mic but still, for a first time landing here in VR didn’t think it was bad at all!

Only issue I still have is center line. Anyone else have trouble aligning the aircraft on centerline after touchdown or is it just me? I have to work on bettering my rudder skills!

Landing In Cusco, Peru Is Challenging!

First time flying into Cusco and it was real challenge for me! Really fun to land at airports that I’ve visited in reality! Will have to do this again but land in Lima instead!

Just Thought My Death Animation Was Funny

Title, basically. Also dude with the shogun genuinely sucks. I’m assuming maybe he found it if he was free kitting.

Extracted Still Lost My Loot!

Went into a night raid on spaceport naked. No guns just a shield and a few heals. Risky and not ideal, I know.

I’ve been in PvP heavy lobbies as of late and I am trying to get back to mostly PvE ones. Guy shot me, understandably, but he let me crawl into the elevator.

Elevator doors fully closed but I still get knocked out because my health ran out? Other raiders definitely looted my body after that though.

I Should Have Known Better

I mainly PvE but will defend myself if necessary. I almost threw my controller at my tv after this. It’s my fault and I should not have turned my back. I won’t give anyone the benefit of the doubt after this and will be shooting on sight now.

Cucamonga Peak Parking

Might drive up from SD tomorrow morning to hike CP. Last time I arrived around 8am and knew parking would be full. We lucked out though and someone left within 15 min of us arriving.

Anyway, I know it is one of the more popular trails because of access and stellar views at the summit. Just want to know what time should I arrive tomorrow to ensure there will be space to park?

Is 6am okay? I dont mind leaving NLT than 4am if I need to. Thanks.

If you are debating buying the Citation X, just get it. It’s worth every penny and it is now my new favorite aircraft.

I was flying the default 737 and I now fully understand how notoriously awful that product is compared to the Citation X.

Love the small details that FlightFX invested into it with the snacks and wine in the drawer. Really adds a uniqueness and realness to it.

The sound modeling is very life like, it’s quick and easy to go from cold and dark to flying, and it is a dream to fly. If you are in the market for a third party business jet I strongly recommend it.

I posted this in the msfs sub too and edited some of the phrasing in this post but wanted to share here as well. It’s incredible in VR too as the final photo in this set illustrates.

I bought the Citation X when it released to PS5 I believe shortly after SU5 or with it. It’s been awesome to fly. But, I noticed there are no approach call outs like in the airliners?

Apologize for the phraseology I’m not a real life pilot but usually in the cockpit in the 737 I’ll hear 2500’, then 500’, 400’, 50, 40, 30, etc.

I’m just wondering is this not a feature that was modeled by FlightFX? If it is, how do I enable it? Or maybe there are no call outs in the real aircraft?

Thanks for any insight.

Downloaded SU5 shortly after 10am PDT today as well as the Brazil world update.

God dam this sim is mind blowing. I actually have flown as a passenger in a heli to tour Christ in real life so this was hella fun to be able to do this virtually. And I must say the scale and depth are incredibly accurate. The graphics in this world update are exceptionally detailed too.

If you are on the fence about buying psvr2 or flight sim 2024, just get it man, it’s worth it if you are passionate about flying.

Those who have purchased PP what time do yall arrive?Do you yall arrive for Rope Drop? Arrive at 10am or later?

Wife and I are not new to DL as we’re local to SoCal. Had AP’s then MK’s. Stopped visiting in 2024 but our most recent visit was earlier this month in 2026. I personally want to return in a couple weeks on a Saturday for Hyperspace Mountain, churros, and my beloved spicy link corn dog among other goodies I have to eat or take home. For whatever reason, other than SM, I skipped all of these.

I guess my question is, if we drive up from San Diego the day of our visit, can we or should we arrive late? Late as in NLT than 11am? I understand PP can be purchased in advance of our visit but I primarily want to ride Guardians, Incredicoaster, HM, Thunder, and Cars in the evening/night time.

Or should we rope drop or casually stroll in slightly after 830am, eat breakfast in the park, shop, and take our time given we can show up at anytime for LL’s and not have to worry about actually booking LL’s time slots?

Curious what you guys do and what we should do. Thanks!

Hold L1 + left stick and move your head around. This only worked for me at cruise though. It did not work after I set the AP and was climbing out of San Diego.
