Magic v3 inner screen popped 2 weeks back now green light

My Honor Magic V3's screen detached from its central point two weeks ago (I initially presumed it was merely the screen protector). I had procured a new screen protector and proceeded to peel off the existing one to apply the replacement. Upon removal, I realized that the display itself had dislodged. I affixed the screen protector, and three days subsequently, a green line manifested on the left periphery of the screen, and the touch functionality occasionally misbehaves.
A screen replacement would incur a cost of approximately 1800dhs. Do you believe transitioning to a new handset would be a more judicious decision? I am contemplating acquiring the Samsung Fold8 wide version upon its release. However, for the interim, I am considering moving to the Fold7 and awaiting to assess whether the wide Fold8 is suitable for practical use. I am amenable to the concept of a wider form factor but am uncertain about its practicality.
