Help! I lost money on this!

Help! I lost money on this!

I need some help. Looking back at the bigger picture, this is such a clear setup to make some good money, but I somehow lost money. I'm not trying to make this a job, just trying to get a little extra cash to enjoy life a bit more. I'd honestly be happy with $50/day (for right now anyway).

My strat is simple, I see the trend up, then a small pull back, when it turns green again and moves past the hight of the last red candle, I buy. Then sell when it starts going red again or it goes high enough that I'm happy with profits.

I do look at the Macd and level 2 to confirm it's probably a good buy. If I had held, I would have been right. In this particular case, the level 2 data was moving so fast and there weren't really any big numbers that stood out, so I didn't find it too helpful.

I do set stop losses, but they seem to always hit the stop loss. This tells me they are too high, but I worry about setting them lower and them still hitting. I guess I'm not trusting my strat? I don't know. It seems so simple, but I screw it up everytime lol.

Is it that I need to trust myself more? Or something else you notice I'm not doing right?

Thanks for any help you can provide!

Newbie here, am I not understanding this correctly?

I thought this was supposed to give me info during a halt so that I can better gauge what price it's going to open at, but this info never changes. It does matter what stock I look at, whether it's pre-market or open market, halted it or not halted. It's always exactly as you see in this picture.

From my understanding, you need to be subscribed to this, which I currently have the 30-day free trial so I thought I would have access to it.

Am I not understanding something correctly? Is this just the example of some other feature that I don't have?

Thanks in advance!

Pre-market scanner updates

Is there a way to get the scanners to update when pre-market hits and not a few minutes after? I use the basic scanner to show big stock moves, but it takes anywhere from 5-10 minutes for it to start working. The exact amount of time varies from day to day. Once it gets going, it works beautifully, but it's that initial few minutes that's bothering me.

Not looking for any reply, I just needed to vent a little.

I was doing great, not making tons of cash, but hitting my small daily goal or above every single day. Things were going so well so I decided to tell my wife last Thursday. I've been red everyday since.

I havnt blown my account or anything, the last 2 days I've taken seriously small positions. Today I only took 1 share at a time and did like 2 trades. I'm red, but like by 4¢. I'm trying to be super cafeful as to not take any bad trades. I watched myself avoid what would have been some bad positions, so I guess it's sort of working? I Don't know. At this point I'm just trying to get green, even if it's only pennies.

I think it's because since now that I've told her, I feel this pressure to do well.

I've also noticed that I've been super focused on the level 2 chart. But when I was winning, I ignored it. Maybe I should go back to that.

Google Maps always says I'm going to get to my location earlier than I actually do.

You might think that maybe I'm driving slow, or hit traffic, or make a stop, but nope. Just this past weekend I had what was supposed to be (according to Google) a two hour and 58 minute trip. I went anywhere from 10 to 15 mph over the speed limit the whole time, hit zero traffic, made zero stops. It still took me a little over 3 and 1/2 hours.

If it's going to be off, it should say that I would arrive later with me actually arriving earlier because I was speeding.

This sort of thing happens all the time. The longer the trip, the more off it is.

Anyone know why and how to fix it?
