On one of the few clear night skies we had over a 3 week period, I took my Seestar S30 Pro out and captured the Andromeda galaxy for 90 minutes. The region I was in lies under Bortle 4 skies so perfect to capture deep sky objects. This was my first try at capturing this galaxy and no other editing apps were used.
I took this photo 2 years ago on a visit out west, but have no clue as to what caused these streaks,
Just happened to get a shot of this males right before he surprised the female by jumping on her back. This was obviously taken in the spring during mating time.
A lady from the area directed us to this spot and we fell in love with it. The varied landscapes are stunning and there are many little gems to discover. You'll find many trails to follow in the region but keep in mind that some trail info has not been updated and a few may be closed. We had to turn back on a few of them. Some are in the back country so to speak and can be difficult to find as they are not well indicated, and many are better traveled in a pick-up or SUV. Happy trails everyone :-)

I just love this place no matter the time of year.
We were sitting in the trailer we rent each year at our favorite campground when I heard a rap-tap-tap-tap. I almost didn't go out with my camera thinking it was probably a downy woodpecker and I've seen plenty around Montreal. I took a chance and stepped outside only to see a woodpecker I had never seen before. I'm lucky I even managed to get a shot as he kept going around the tree trunk 😂
Sorry for the quality of the photos but I was trying to hold my phone steady on the top of my car. This year I'll have my regular camera set up on my tripod and ready to capture more of these nighttime wonders.
This historical lighthouse sits on the shore of the Northumberland Straight between New Brunswick and PEI. It had to be moved back further on the point a few times due to erosion.
The dock is a regular gathering place during the day and evening. The bay is 45 square kilometers and was discovered by the explorer Jacques Cartier in 1535.
I've taken many photos of cardinals. This is one of them. The comparison is spot on right? 😂
I love Lily of the Valley. Smaller things in nature hold a beauty onto their own.
