Hitman 2 cutscenes are sad... How much would it actually have cost to make them like Hitman 2016?

(Yeah they're not bad, the artists and devs did a great job with the limitations imposed.)

Apparently, IO was going bankrupt and they lost the department that did the cutscenes for hitman 2016, so it would be "very expensive" to do it on their own.

The question is, how much money are we talking about? How do we know for sure it wasn't purely for convenience and to keep more money in their pockets? We are talking about the Hitman IP, one of the most successful IPs in the market... where did the money from Silent Assassin, Contracts, Blood Money, Absolution, Hitman 2016 go...?

edit: there's no way it's so much more expensive, It's not like the animation studio worked for free on Hitman 2016. You still gotta pay salaries and bills. I would guess 20% more expensive to hire another studio (or even the same), 20% being the usual profit margin of businesses in general..

I found a 10 year old screenshot of my profile

https://imgur.com/a/LYSK85D

this client was much better imo. and no, it's not nostalgia. it prefer the aesthetics and that it was lightweight, simple, cleaner...

I also prefer the old map. I liked the BETA version of the current map tho (it only stayed for like 1-2 months), it was less dark

Today I learned FF7 and Bioshock were all woke.

And yes, these guys use the term 'woke' unironically as something good. this fanbase is pure cancer

Life is Strange 2 is about "bad white people" killing mexican kids at the border, and "evil christian people" kidnaping children. it's also about "we are innocent and bad evil police killed our father and now they're chasing us". oh it's also about "bad evil white people being mean to gay people" and "evil white guy pay us low to sell weed, let's steal his money"

my rule for creating outfits is to always keep at least 1 item that it's unique to the character, so it doesn't lose it's visual identity

it can be the hair, or an exclusive clothing like Reina's kimono
