I found my guy in a new place... Lol
Doing the same things everywhere else...
People who have reported to IISERs/ are going to report soon, please tell your experienc6a out how many neetards you saw and what were their plans..
What are these bugs I currently experience whenever I use Kdenlive after I updated it after one year?
- Error whenever I open my kdenlive app, but then it appears to open just fine?
- Before, transform, rotoscope and all used to have these edge blocks I could manually hold and arrange, but now they have completely disappeared, and while I can still somewhat use transform, I can't even use Rotoscope anymore.
Please help me.
Oh How I had it Back then.....
First Pic - All my books (left), Notes (Right) and Rough Copies(Center, a lot thrown away) I used from 11th, 12th and for competitive prep.
Second - Class 12th Board results ( 95.3%)
Third - CUET Results (582/750 PCB)
Fourth - IAT results
Fifth - JEE Mains Result
Sixth - NEET (Worst one till date)
These moments feel like a dream now that I have been freed of the academic burdens of these classes and the competitive exams.
Yet I somehow feel a little more hollow than I was before - perhaps it was the effect of not socializing with people after my school ended before my practicals or whether it was the total isolation that I took on during my preparation for competitive exams (for which I had never prepared before actually I was a board-main student).
Also it feel so weird to be in this subreddit sharing my stories now that I am not actually a CBSE student anymore. I joined jis separate in late 9th early 10th and it has been a while journey going from not even knowing what Jai or meet is to actually preparing for them.
I wish my best regards to the future generation who is going to party in these things even though it might same very shaky but I hope it will become better as you all go through it!
I wish Good lucky o All the Neetards here!
It is 5th of August, 10 days from both Independence day and from your allotment of a good GMC! Every person who has worked hard to get what they desire shall get it!
(This is in hopes that we have a higher cutoff rankkkk)
Some Calculations. courtesy - Godman sir's Data.
I decided to look into the stuff about the seat matrix, courtesy some talk with u/Amazeryogo on a private GC online. Based on discussion by u/God_Man_008 's data
(This is for UR only! Cat is very confusing and not straightforward)
We know that, total seat Matrix: ≈ 2400
Considering reservation, with EWS on TOTAL number of seats,
2400 - 60%(2400) ≈ 960 seats
Now if the seat acceptance (Float and freeze) is about 45% on the average end ( 30 at low and 60 at high end), we get the following number of seats
(960 - 45%)-45% = 290 seats
So, by R3, there are about 290 seats remaining. In the Gen category.
Now, as I write this, I was reminded by the same Amazeryogo that there Is the option of Refund.
Now, I am sure that the refunds won't be filed until NMC R1 and CGAS Does not properly initiate
So if we can consider, about 25% total seats taken are refunded. However, since this is very Dynamic and does not happen like seat selection, and ALSO happens inter round, It's hard to apply it because every seat left will be taken in the same.
In anycase, if all refunds were to happen by R6, we can get the following trend of number of seats remainig
R4 = 160 seats
R5 = 91 (if we consider 2% seats are refunded and in lower rounds acceptance rate goes higher (55%) as more true aspirants and/or desperate people claim the remaining seats)
R6 = 70
And so on
Eventually, there will be a very high acceptance rate completely off-setting the refunds and thus all seats will be filled.
This is ig oring the KM quota and some other things.
I am aware that things are neither so straightforward nor easy, but tis' the best I got.
Also Shoutout to Aleph Paradot, who's Reddit idk but he's given his critiques
And yes I agree that Neetards WILL get out en mass like a crowd of bulls. But I am using very VERY conservative numbers to give the worst possible outcomes :)
Let's Settle the Debate: Neetards, IATards, and IISERs
Hello friends,
As you can see, there is quite a sudden upheaval in the server about a few members who are critiquing and even berating neet students who have taken an IISER seats, while another section of server is berating the these people berating the neetards.
Now, we all know what the situation of the cutoffs, and so we should analyse the rights, the wrongs, and the misunderstandings of and about the neet students doing what they do
The Rights
- NEET Students are not wrong in participating in the exams, as the exam allowed PCB students for the exact purpose of a diverse background of students. So it is completely acceptable to give the exam, wether as a BACKUP Or as something you want to pursue wether or not you have a good score in NEET.
- It's morally right to use the seat you have earned via merit, outperforming the students who actually want the institute. The same is true in JEE, Where the same crowd often gets higher percentiles than their peers in PCMB just because they can master 2/3 subjects. It's rather our fault to have not performed and preped upto the mark.
The Wrongs
- Despite what I said, it is WRONG to take an institute's seat for a partial drop, wether an IISER, Central Uni, or as such. You will neither be able to study for MBBS, nor will you be able to handle the extensive college course. All you will do is waste someone's seat.
- You ALSO don't have the right to flex the seat in a way that insults a genuine aspirant, because you don't know how hard the other person might have worked only to be basically called an idiot by someone who is mocking someone about an exam they cracked as a Joke.
The Misunderstandings
- This is for the neet students - IISERs are NOT for partial drops.
- For the IAT crowd - a neet students participating in the exam and even registering for the councelling does NOT mean that your seat is being taken. A serious aspirant will truly not take a seat, they will be smart enough to know the risks and benifits of the institute.
Tldr; NEET students are not wrong for taking the exam, so don't bully them , but neet students can't bully those who ranked below them.
I am disappointed.... Both in myself and in the situation around me.
Seeing how bad the cutoffs are (Barely touching 4k) it seems the patterns of 2024 are showing... But somehow reserved ranks have relaxed a lot more than before which means atleast some people will have a better time.
Anyways, here's a quickly AI made bar graph comparison between 2024, 2025 and 2026 R2 cutoffs :(
A Scenario where India becomes independent in 1857: Alternate ahistory fonIndia | Full series
You might have seen my posts before - this is a new account, and I wanted to share the full concept with everyone.
Some parts may seem outlandish, but it is Alternate History. I also jokingly call it "What if India became independent in 1857 and had a perfect few decades".
My first proper mapping project: AHOW: Apsari. Episode One.

We will truly see how far the predictions about neetards go.
Poll Result Analysis_Not much to see.
I made this little poll yesterday... the data seems pretty stagnant.
Anyhow, while I try to figure out things to dissect for myself and others, here's the result
25.5% consider IISER as a backup college, which pretty much concludes the question about the cutoff.... As I said before, although there's a good bit of Survivorship Bias, Extrapolations leads us to believe that a good section of students currently giving the exam take it as a backup and will most likely leave councelling upon getting a better college assuming good IAT rank= Good (insert exam they gave as 1° ) rank.
This is not much—Not meant to be, but I will be glad to help more people. I am also open to suggestions about analysis!
Please Help me fellow Students
So currently I have been alloted Venky (Bsc Prog Life science) and might upgrade to Ramjas because I have a very small gap in score.
In anycase, DU starts from 28th, But I actually am aiming for an IISER BsMs seat, but it's councelling is very late.
What do I do? Do I skip the first few days of DU, or do I try to attend the college second week onwards cause I am about 500km away from Delhi and the soonest I can go is in one week. I have relatives in Delhi close to both (50 min max) so stay is not an issue.
Your opinions will be greatly appreciated.
People I have a Doubt, Please help me because it will determine my future steps.

After weeks of protest, Indian education minister formally resigns from the post of Education minister.

ONE PEICE FALLS, OTHERS WILL SOON!
Spread this as much as you can people - DO NOT LET PEOPLE TAKE ONLY PCB IF THEIR INTEREST IS NOT 100% MBBS.
I am a PCB Student this year. I passed with good grades in botha 11th and 12th. Not so much in competitive. Let me tell you my story, and many brothers, sisters, and everyone in between and beyond will relate to.
In 11th I was pretty sure I was not going to do MBBS and this in decided I was going to do something in BSc. Turns out that in this world anything except the city central universities is of limits to a person without maths because this what maths is an important part of science. Leaving that out just makes you more incapable of going into any other field.
I am now suffering because of it and have little to no options. Please do not dot he same mistake as me! Take either PCMB or just PCMB but NOT PCB unless you want to take a NIOS drop.
