Me, personally, I think he's got a good amount of gems, as well as a lot of trash. He gives me massive douche vibes, though, which is why I'd bet he's a controversial figure. I know like 15 years ago he had beef with Sicktanik but I'd doubt anyone cares anymore.
1: -10 Vraska to set the opp's life to 1
2: Have Zulaport cutthroat out
3: goad a creature they control with power 4 or greater
4: when said creature swings, block with Secret Door
5: JOOOOOOOOOSUKEEEEEEEE
Play conspiracy naming slivers, give it to an opponent, then gain control of one of their now "slivers" using sliver overlord
I don't like putting artists down as I have a pretty high tolerance for music, however, I genuinely cannot get behind Outbreak Monkey. I'd be ok with him if he was just some glup shitto but he made it onto Devilz Nite 4 times. So I was wondering, am I just an asshole or does everyone else share the sentiment that this guy's music was dogshit?
I've been listening to SyckSyde for like 2 months now and I thought "wow SyckSyde has had such a varied lineup over the years" and I wanted to know if the people of this sub had any thoughts of the individual members as artists and what they brought to SyckSyde.
Last night I hopped on ranked and died since I was incredibly rusty and not very good in the first place. I made a post expressing my anger, and, naturally, I was met with numerous comments, most telling me to chill, some telling me I didn't know how the game worked, and some essentially telling me to quit. Today, I thought to myself "Surely you're not just gonna stop like that, right?" and the answer was "Hell no." I spent some time doing every Vox combo trial, and then I thirsted for some matches on casual rather than ranked. I lost nearly every match, but, rather than boiling rage in my heart, I had celebrated the small victories within each match (for example, nearly pulling a victory against an Andy light years ahead of me), and I also 4-0'd a Mr. Karate but that wasn't really the part worth celebrating. I felt like shit, and now I feel euphoric, this is the same shit that happened when I got into Tekken 8 online. Best part? I also have a very nice cherry coke as of writing. Are there any resources I should consult on improving my skills or do I just have to grind my way to being good?
Who the fuck is on ranked? Why is the game just telling me to quit? Apparently everybody online in the first fucking rank knows every combo route with every character and always hits them. Guess my labbing just isn't enough just isn't fucking enough. And every single fucking time I knock somebody down it's to my deficit. This is the first fucking fighting game I've ever played where knocking your opponent down is bad news bears for me. They grab me on wakeup, they DP on wakeup they SPG out of me trying to do fucking anything, god I fucking hate SPG. And while I usually love neutral in fighting games it just feels like none of my buttons do anything. How does anyone get good at this fucking game. Why was this game designed specifically to spite me. I'm gonna snap one of these fucking days I swear man
I think anyone that would complain about this Marduk just hates fighting grapplers and characters with aggressive oki but won't complain about King or Kazuya because it isn't widely accepted to do so, but that's just me.
Over the past couple months I've wanted to listen to every Devilz Nite mixtape, which was going well since 2003-9 are on bandcamp, and 2010 is on reverbnation, but now I've hit a sort of fork in the road. You see, as far as I'm aware, there is no way to listen to 2011 and 2012 in full, since the 2011 download link on the wordpress site is long gone, and 2012's spotify page is also dead. For now, I've had to resort to trying to scavenge for individual songs with middling success (finding some songs perfectly, others having different features, others being lost entirely, and some which I found once but can no longer track down. Can any of you guys help me with this?
To clarify, I still main the 'duk in games he's in although when I say I want him in Tekken 8 I'm talking like Tag 2 Marduk I can acknowledge that Tekken 7 Marduk needs to BURN in HELL. Also, Loved in the story is a tossup cuz Tekken's story is total dogshit.
