Last night I hopped on ranked and died since I was incredibly rusty and not very good in the first place. I made a post expressing my anger, and, naturally, I was met with numerous comments, most telling me to chill, some telling me I didn't know how the game worked, and some essentially telling me to quit. Today, I thought to myself "Surely you're not just gonna stop like that, right?" and the answer was "Hell no." I spent some time doing every Vox combo trial, and then I thirsted for some matches on casual rather than ranked. I lost nearly every match, but, rather than boiling rage in my heart, I had celebrated the small victories within each match (for example, nearly pulling a victory against an Andy light years ahead of me), and I also 4-0'd a Mr. Karate but that wasn't really the part worth celebrating. I felt like shit, and now I feel euphoric, this is the same shit that happened when I got into Tekken 8 online. Best part? I also have a very nice cherry coke as of writing. Are there any resources I should consult on improving my skills or do I just have to grind my way to being good?

Who the fuck is on ranked? Why is the game just telling me to quit? Apparently everybody online in the first fucking rank knows every combo route with every character and always hits them. Guess my labbing just isn't enough just isn't fucking enough. And every single fucking time I knock somebody down it's to my deficit. This is the first fucking fighting game I've ever played where knocking your opponent down is bad news bears for me. They grab me on wakeup, they DP on wakeup they SPG out of me trying to do fucking anything, god I fucking hate SPG. And while I usually love neutral in fighting games it just feels like none of my buttons do anything. How does anyone get good at this fucking game. Why was this game designed specifically to spite me. I'm gonna snap one of these fucking days I swear man
