Afterlife/ heaven/ ECT

Not to be negative but I'm in the process of grief right now after I lost my dog a couple days ago and I've had multiple people say "they will be on the other side" "rainbow bridge" "waiting for you" "in heaven" "their soul is with you" ect. Where does your belief/hope come from? Trying to see the light at the end of the tunnel, but don't want to give myself false hope. I want to accept death for what it is.

Guilt

Feeling really guilty about putting my dog to sleep yesterday & not giving him the attention he deserves over the last 6 months, I had a baby and my baby spent 4 months in the hospital so I was hardly ever home and there for my dog. It's eating me up. I loved my dog so much, I never wanted to let him go. I wish I paid more attention to him & cuddled with him more, but my life was so chaotic and all my focus was on the baby. Now he is gone, and my heart is shattered. Now I feel like I can hardly focus on my baby because I am grieving my dog. Ugh. Life is hard.

My heart is shattered to pieces. Having my dog gifted to me was one of my first memories of life. Don't know how to move on from this. We went to Burger King and went to the park yesterday. No time could have been long enough, but I feel like we didn't have enough time together on his last day. Everything felt rushed. I held him in my arms and watched the life leave from his body. I was hoping the appointment would be the worst part. I felt immediate relief walking to my car and on the drive home. After about an hour of being home, I broke down crying again, laid down in his old man poop and pee bed and just smelled it and cried and cried. I miss him so so much. My bestest friend, my sweetest boy.

Convertible car seats

Convertible car seat recommendations? Considering one of those rotating 360 seats(specifically Graco) but not sure if it's totally necessary. I just bought a 2017 Ford fusion but I'm also considering selling that car now so I could end up with a different car in the next year or two (or sooner) Not sure yet. Basically looking for something that I will not have issues with if I need to put it into a different car. Something that fits well in most vehicles. Any recommendations?

Pet loss

Having almost lost my one month old baby back in June due to bacterial meningitis septic shock, which was absolutely terrifying I'm hoping that the process of putting my dog down next week will not compare to that. I'm sure it will be a different sort of pain and an actual loss but I can't help but hope that nothing could be worse than what I just experienced with my baby (other than if they didn't survive) For those of you who have kids or babies, is it hard to stay strong for them after losing a pet? Or does having a baby or children make this process easier? Or not? I'm hoping my baby will keep me distracted and I'll have to stay strong after I lose my dog of 18 years who was ultimately my first baby.

Euthanization

I made an appointment for my dog next week on Wednesday to put him down and I'm just hoping that the worst part will be the appointment itself. He is 18 years old, I've had him since I was a little girl, I got him as a 'gift' from my dad and I cried I was so happy, will never forget that day. We moved out together, all the things. I don't want to convince myself to prolong his life any longer, and I want to know that this is the right thing to do. Is the worst part about euthanization the appointment itself? Does it get easier once you get home and the days following? I feel like my dog has been suffering for quite some time now, he doesn't show it or cry but he's mostly just confused and his back legs probably hurt. I feel almost like I lost him a while ago, and have already grieved his joyful self, but even having him pee all over the house and watching him struggle to get around, has brought me comfort. (Not to sound cruel) But it's the truth. I have never been able to bring myself to make that call, but yesterday I did. It's almost like I am disassociating from the appointment, and I am just going to go in there, do it, and go home. My dog will get chicken & burgers for the next week.

Teething

My baby was born at the beginning of February but his due date was May 27th, he is a 25-weeker. I did message his pediatrician but she hasn't got back to me yet and I'm getting really curious about teething as my baby's been putting his fist in his mouth a lot more and drooling a lot more. He's technically only 2 months corrected age. When did your baby start teething is it possible that he could already be teething? He's not old enough yet to try Frozen fruits or veggies, how well I comfort him if he is teething?

My baby survived bacterial meningitis and I don't know how to feel

After spending 3 months in the NICU, my baby came home for 6 weeks, and than he got really sick with late on set GBS and went into septic shock. We have currently been back in the PICU for 3 weeks now. I am feeling very mixed emotions at this point. I think this experience has been quite traumatic for me. I don't even know how to feel. I went from extreme fear to being hopeful, begging God to save my boy on my hands and knees, overwhelmed, and so so so happy that my boy survived, but now I am starting to feel like this experience has ruined our bond, distant, disconnected from my son, as bad as it sounds, inconvenienced and guilty for feeling any negative feelings because I feel like I should be nothing but grateful and overjoyed that my baby is alive. To top it off, I am starting to stress about finances from being in this damn hospital for so long "bonding" Today he wouldn't stop crying and nothing I tried to do for him helped. I had to leave the room and go cry outside. Has anybody experienced something similar to this? Does it get better?

2017 Ford fusion SE Ecoboost

Does anybody have this car? Have you had issues or has it been a good choice of a car? I just bought one yesterday with 117k miles for 6k. I'm starting to worry if I made a horrible decision after buying on impulse to get something safe for my baby. Car drives great but After doing some research, I'm reading horror stories about issues with Ecoboost. Is it really that bad?? I'm kind of freaking out. Any input would be great. Thanks

Late On-Set GBS

My son was born at 25 weeks & is currently 5 months (1 month corrected). He almost died last night and is now in the PICU. He tested positive for GBS. He is intubated and sedated, receiving antibiotics for the infection. Does anybody have experience with this?

Sepsis ... Infections

My son was born at 25 weeks gestation, he is about 5 months old now, (1 month corrected)

Yesterday, he suddenly got really fussy and was screaming/crying at his audiology appointment. I thought he was just hungry and tired because they asked me not to feed him until he got to the appointment. During the appointment, he drank a 4oz bottle but was still fussy. After the appointment, he slept for 4 hours straight and I thought to myself "wow, he must have just been really tired and hungry" I ended up waking him myself and noticed he was very weak, not interested in eating, and I knew something was wrong at that point. I rushed him to the emergency room and he went into sepsis, his breathing almost stopped, he developed a rash on his neck that quickly turned swollen and inflamed. He had to be intubated and his body was essentially shutting down and he was dying. Has anybody else had a similar experience or know what could have caused this? The doctors still don't know and it's been almost 24 hours and everybody seems a little confused in my opinion. I'm a bit freaked out and traumatized and concerned about the future as well and what effects this might cause, and how to avoid something like this happening again, without even knowing what caused this. Any advice or support or stories would be great. Thanks

Beginner

I am a beginner and I just ordered the gelish starter kit because it was a tad bit inexpensive than the apres kit, along with an apres beta lamp. Is this going to work? I'm not sure what nails to get. Are there any pre-painted sheer nails I can order so that I don't have to paint them? Or I was considering the ombre nails from apres? Will this still work? Will gelish products with the apres nails/lamp? Thanks for any advice. Really hoping this works out for me. Thanks
