BGBL + A200 or VGS + VAS

Would love to hear thoughts and opinions. My core will consist of one of the pairs listed. I’m 18 years old, will add an emerging markets etf in the future aswell probably.

what etf/s to combine with BGBL

im 18 gonna sell my ivv for bgbl.

i am not gonna invest in aus along side bgbl capital growth is slow.

Im torn between an emerging markets etf, small cap company etf, or ndq.

if u recommend emerging markets etf pls give me advice on which to choose there is so much. IEM, VGE, AVTE, and many more. im also gonna have a 5-10 percent allocation to an individual stock.

Any advice is greatly appreciated! also should i have 100% overseas shares indexed for my super? im w rest, thanks again

Do I go 100% IVV or 100%BGBL???

I’m 18 yo have about 8k in ivv and good emergency savings and spendings. I’m considering bgbl for diversification outside the us. But tbh I don’t want to sacrifice growth for safeness. my plan is too always have an etf balance and withdraw amounts from it bit by bit to fund things. Idk any advice would be nice. Ik the main benefit starting now is time and compounding

Business law advice

I’m a first y 2nd sem student doing bcom here at rmit. Should I drop business law so I can get a higher wam by end of year. I want a higher wam cuz I’m applying to transfer into unimelb BCom . Business law is the hardest out my 4 subjects. My other 3 are easy

I need advice

I did 3 subjects semester 1 rmit bcom, tried to transfer into uni Melb bcom and didn’t get in. Still at rmit bcom, I don’t know if I should do 3 or 4 subjects for semester 2 (first year). By doing 3 my ATAR will be considered with a bigger percentage at end of year - when I apply again to unimelb bcom, which Idm cuz my atar was 90+. And also I get to focus more on 3 subjects and possibly higher wam. If I do 4, less atar and could be harder to get a higher wam. It seems like a no brainer to do 3 but I need to know if I’m overlooking something or missing nuance to this decision. My long term goal is to do bcom at unimelb major in accounting. I’m very persistent and stuck on this goal.

Advice on subject load

Hey everyone, I have a goal of transferring into unimelb bachelor of commerce. I was unsuccessful this past intake due to a lack of spots. However I will try again end of year. I was wondering if I should do 3 subjects instead of 4 for semester 2, I did 3 last semester and this benefited me for my wam. Additionally i want to drop a subject due to the amount of group assignments which I feel can lower my wam. My atar was 92 and I understand this will be considered since if I drop the subject I would have completed less than 1 year of full time study. Any help is greatly appreciated. I’m currently first year RMIT

External mid year transfer

Hey guys. I didn’t successfully transfer into BCom unimelb, I called and asked why. They said because they only made offers to first opportunity students, people who graduated Vce or IB and didn’t go into uni study? Anyone else have the same experience? Thank you.

Mid year transfer into unimelb BCom

What wam is needed to get into mid year BCom? I’m first year first sem student with a 75.5 wam and got a 92 atar last year. For people who have tried mid year transfer and have experience, is this usually enough?

MId year intake questions

Hey everyone, I had a few questions about the competitiveness of mid year BCOM intake. I understand it's highly competitive, but if someone graduated in 2025 with a 92.3 ATAR and did 1 semester of BCOM at another uni and got a 76 WAM, and also satisfied methods pre-req through calculus online, what are the chances? If anyone has experienced mid year commerce intake I would love to hear how it went for you,.
