What is the NYU transfer acceptance rate and why does nobody explain this clearly

I'm a second year community college student studying English lit, which is about as far from data-driven planning as you can get. I picked my major because I love books, not because I'm good at reading charts or understanding college admissions statistics. But here I am, trying to figure out if transferring to NYU is even realistic for me.

I keep seeing the NYU transfer acceptance rate thrown around online but the numbers seem to vary depending on where I look, and I genuinely dont know how to interpret any of it. Like, does the rate apply to everyone or just certain programs? Does it change year to year? Does it even matter if I havent taken the right classes going in?

Honestly my bigger problem might be that I have no idea if Im even building toward this correctly. My counselor at my CC is nice but she has like 400 students and I get maybe 10 minutes with her per semester. I picked my classes mostly based on what fit my schedule, which in hindsight was probably not the move.

For anyone who has gone through this or knows more than me, how much does the acceptance rate actually tell you about your own chances? And is there a smarter way to be planning this out without having to become an admissions expert myself?

Just got my first puppy and looking for a puppy training app, what actually matters when choosing?

So and I guess I’m officially part of the dog-parent club now 😅 I’ve had the sweetest little puppy, Bunny, for a few weeks, and I want to get a dog training app to help us learn and grow together. But honestly… I had no idea there were so many of them.

Realized pretty quick that everyone recommends different ones for different reasons. So I'm asking: what actually matters when you're picking one, especially when you're a total beginner?

I've been thinking about this while reading reviews and here's what keeps coming up:

Actual step-by-step structure - people who loved zigzag mentioned having a real plan for their dog. but others complained it got generic after a few weeks.

Progress tracking that shows patterns - dogo gets praised for this a lot, but some reviewers said it was just a checklist. I want to actually see: what training method worked for my dog?

Real help when you're stuck - woofz comes up because people mention messaging actual trainers. But is that real help and how fast do they actually respond?

Beyond just commands - puppr apparently has tons of videos but reviewers said they felt lost about grooming, nutrition, socialization. Does the app think about the whole puppy experience, or just training tricks?

I'm not trying to be cheap, but I also don't want to be bloated. just structure + actual help + something that grows with my dog.

So if you’ve used any of these apps (or others), what actually made you choose one? Please don’t sell me on them 😅 Just give me one solid reason why it’s worth using.

Is there any Decentralized / onchain poker platform?

I've been looking for a poker platform that is actually decentralized and runs the game and/or settlement onchain, and of course that supports crypto.

Most crypto poker sites I've come across are bad, that's the word, the highest withdrawals limits i found were like 2k usd/day which kind of defeats the point for me. Thanks for advices, It seems like there are not much platforms out there doing this if i'm not wrong, idk that's why i'm asking

What's the difference between Chainflip vs Thorchain?

I've been looking at Chainflip and THORChain for cross chain swaps and I'm trying to understand the actual differences between them.

They seem pretty similar and far I saw, ThorSwap has Chainflip integrated, but with a fee on the top of it, So I'm wondering what is worth using, knowing thorswap adds a fee on chainflip's own routes, and chainflip seems ok but is truly expensive, if i'm right, why is thorswap even so famous for? If they just aggregate other routes with a fee on it? It makes no sense
