In honor of our preseason game today, I just want to drop a fan interview video I did for the Panthers V Bills game last year, it was like 90% Bills fans at that game (unfortunately for me) but met a lot of cool people and even got a Bills fan to jump through a table!

I’ve been breaking down every Panthers opponent this season, and Baltimore is honestly one of the few teams I’ve covered that I have absolutely no beef with.
I’m actually excited for this matchup and hopefully getting to see Lamar play against our defense.

Every year it feels like this matchup makes no sense.
Doesn’t matter who’s better on paper, who’s rebuilding, or who’s supposed to win—we always seem to struggle against New Orleans.
I just finished my Saints breakdown and spent way too much time digging into their roster, coaching staff, offseason, and camp. It left me with one question:
Why is this matchup always such a problem for Carolina?
Curious what everyone thinks. Is it coaching? Personnel? A mental hurdle? Or just one of those weird divisional things?
Here’s my breakdown if you want to compare notes.
Last week I made a post here looking for Panthers fans who wanted to talk ball and break down training camp together. A couple of you reached out, and we got our first roundtable recorded.

I used to live in Colorado, so I’ve had this matchup circled for a while.
I did a full podcast breakdown of the Broncos this week, but I’m not posting it here because I want to respect the subreddit’s no spam rules. I still wanted to come over and hear directly from Broncos fans.
From the Panthers side, Denver’s defense is easily the biggest concern. If the Broncos keep Carolina in third-and-long, I don’t love our chances of protecting Bryce and sustaining drives.
What matchup do you think gives Denver the biggest advantage? And where do you think Carolina has the best chance of giving the Broncos problems?
Also, who is one underrated Broncos player Panthers fans should know before this game?
After Green Bay, we move on to Denver.
The Broncos’ defense is the part of this matchup that worries me. They can create pressure without constantly selling out, however it’s a home game so that helps.
For Carolina, I think this game comes down to whether the offensive line can keep Bryce comfortable and whether we can avoid spending the entire afternoon in obvious passing situations. If Denver controls the early downs, that is exactly the kind of game Sean Payton will be happy to play.
On the other side, I’m interested to see whether Carolina’s defense can make the Broncos drive the full field instead of giving up easy explosives or short fields.

The Falcons and Saints are too busy being in love with hating each other to waste any energy trying to hate us. So screw it, I want the Bucs.
Obviously we’re division rivals already, but I want these two games every year to actually mean something more. I want some bad blood. I want Panthers and Bucs fans to see each other on the schedule and immediately start talking shit.
