What Linux distro would you recommend for gaming that’s stable like Debian but has newer drivers and doesn’t use rolling releases?
Something similar to EndeavourOS, but more stable.
Hey everyone! I just discovered AntiX Linux and I’m curious about what makes it stand out from other Linux distros.
What features do you guys love the most, and what made you stick with AntiX Linux.
I’m looking for an official Tiny11 download and wondering which version would be the best choice for an older laptop with an HDD.
I mainly care about fast boot times and a smooth, responsive experience.
Which version would you recommend?
I’m using EndeavourOS with the XFCE desktop environment, and I’ve already updated the system to the latest packages.
However, Firefox still feels noticeably laggy for me. Scrolling doesn’t feel as smooth as it used to, and sometimes the browser feels a bit sluggish even when doing simple things.
Is anyone else experiencing the same issue recently?
Or is there anything I should check, such as hardware acceleration, graphics drivers, compositor settings, or Firefox settings?
Would appreciate any suggestions or tips. Thanks!
I’m wondering if there’s an Android TV version of F-Droid, and if so, how do I install it?
Can I just install the normal F-Droid APK, or is there a specific version/build for Android TV?
If anyone has done this before, would appreciate some guidance. Thanks!
I’ve seen many Windows 10 Ghost Spectre versions on the Ghost Spectre YouTube channel.
Which version/build is the smoothest and lightest for a very old HDD?
I don’t need the newest version, just the one with the best performance and responsiveness on old hardware.
Thanks!
Just curious, for those using antiX Linux, how much RAM and disk space does it usually use after a fresh install?
Also wondering about idle CPU usage. Is it really that lightweight compared to other Linux distros?
Just trying to get an idea before I install it on an old/low-spec machine.
What screen recorder do you guys recommend?
Looking for something lightweight with minimal FPS/performance impact.
Thanks!
Is there any email app like Spark Mail that still works on jailbroken iOS 6.1.3?
Looking for a better alternative to the stock Mail app. Any recommendations?
Hey everyone! I’ve been trying to find the full video footage of Avicii’s UMF Tour.
I’ve found quite a few videos on YouTube, but unfortunately some of them have been taken down because of copyright, so the footage seems to be incomplete.
Does anyone know if there’s anywhere I can watch or find the full UMF Tour videos, preferably in the best quality available? Maybe an archive, fan upload, or another platform that still has the complete recordings?
Would really appreciate it if anyone knows where to look. Thanks!
Seriously, the way he could change the mood from one song to the next was crazy. Like, one song gets you hyped, then the next one brings you down a little, then suddenly you’re feeling emotional as hell 😂
It never feels random either. The whole thing just flows so naturally.
I’ve been listening to Avicii FM again and I’m realizing how good he actually was at creating a whole mood through the song order. Dude really knew how to take you on a journey.
Or am I just overthinking a playlist? 😭
Hi, I want to try Linux on my old laptop.
Specs are only 4GB RAM and 16GB eMMC 😅
I’m a beginner, so I’m looking for something easy to use and preferably comes with the essential apps already, especially for students.
Mainly need it for browsing, watching videos, doing assignments, PDFs, Office/LibreOffice, etc.
I don’t really care about gaming or anything heavy. Just want something that runs smoothly and doesn’t take up too much storage.
What distro would you guys recommend for these specs? And is 16GB eMMC enough for Linux + basic apps?
Thanks!
Hey everyone, I’m currently using antiX and was wondering if it’s possible to install and run Sober Linux on it.
Has anyone tried this before? If so, how well does it work, and are there any extra dependencies or setup steps I need to be aware of?
Would appreciate any advice or experience. Thanks!

Mine is Avicii – Lonely Together (Dexter Remix).
That remix hits so damn good 🔥
What’s yours?
Hey everyone, does anyone here know how to properly install apps from Flathub on antiX Linux?
I’m pretty new to antiX and I’m trying to use some apps that are available on Flathub, but I’m not really sure what the correct method is.
Do I need to install Flatpak first, or is there something specific I need to configure on antiX?
Any help or simple step-by-step guide would be appreciated. Thanks!
The screen randomly registers touches by itself, even when I’m not touching it. Has anyone experienced this issue on the Z1 Compact with LineageOS?
Is there any fix, like a kernel, driver, setting, or calibration?
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
Just curious, for those using Alpine Linux, how much RAM and disk space does it usually use after a fresh install?
Also wondering about idle CPU usage. Is it really that lightweight compared to other Linux distros?

Hi everyone,
I’m curious about how lightweight HaikuOS is in practice.
After a fresh installation, roughly how much disk space does Haiku OS take up?
And how much RAM and CPU does it typically use when sitting idle on the desktop?
I’m considering trying Haiku on an older/lower-spec machine, so I’d also be interested in hearing about your experience with it on older hardware.
Thanks!
Hey guys, I’m pretty new to EndeavourOS and I’m using XFCE.
I wanna make my desktop look cool, but I have no idea where to start lol.
Are there any good subreddits or places where people share their XFCE setups/themes?
Looking for stuff like themes, icons, wallpapers, Conky, panels/docks, terminal setups, etc.
Would love to see some of your setups too.
Any recommendations for a beginner?
