Coworker had an accident in the yard and punctured a tanker car full of hot asphalt (x-post r/interesting)
Finally replace the tailgate bezel, and installed a backup camera
Got tired of seeing a hole in my tailgate where the bezel has been missing for the past couple years. Hardest part was getting the wire for the camera through the firewall.
Replaced the fans, pump and reservoir in my computer today!
D5 pump and reservior are Heatkiller, made in Germany, and purchased from DazMode.
I have a reliable water pump again, one that's PWM speed-controlled rather than just always on at full tilt. Also have a nice reservoir that allows me to put whatever D5 pump I want in it, as opposed to a lot of pump/reservoir combos that are all-in-one.
I originally built this PC in 2019 right before COVID, in a Cooler Master Mastercase H500 (after they fixed the front falling off). The 6 year old 200mm fans that came with this case have been replaced too, as they were very worn out. Replaced them with Cooler Master Sickleflow 200 ARGB's bought from Memory Express. PC's much quieter overall now!
Next time I tear into this, I'm gonna' put in a PCI slot cover with fittings for mounting tubing to, and the tubes outside of the case will be hardline. Also gonna' have to completely rewire this case because it has turned into an absolute rat's nest with the progessive changes and upgrades over the years.
