I never really thought of it until now but this section was kinda lame in the original & 3D. Obviously there was only so much a Nintendo 64 rail shooter could do to convey the idea of a sci-fi cityscape under assault by intergalactic invaders but even so looking at it now with fresh eyes the sparse skyscrapers and singular road surrounded by very drab and plain greenery is pretty rough.

Not anymore! It's honestly impressive just how much more gravitas and scale has been added without actually changing the core level design: Much of the grass has been replaced with busted-up tarmac and rubble while a bunch of new buildings loom in the background, the ever-present smoke clogging the picture just enough to allow your brain to further fill in a bigger city just outside the flight path. Also gotta love the General Pepper posters being replaced with holograms of him presumably giving out an evacuation order.

Imagine being a 9 year old playing this off the movie and seeing this fucking thing pop up on your screen lmao

I'm sure there's been a surplus of new stage request posts here but I want to see what people's choices are under the constraint established by the incoming Limit-Breaking NEO. With my choices I tried to go with one from each major tentpole series, Fusion Reborn Hell is iconic and the Tournament of Destroyers arena is easily the most glaring omission right now imo. Meanwhile the original Red Ribbon Army HQ is a cool sleeper pick that would jive with upcoming characters and be extra fun as a destructible environment, consider it my proposed "replacement" for Jingle Village/Muscle Tower given we have an icy stage now
