Cat show advice!

Hey everyone! I figured this was the best place to get advice. We recently got a male silver cashmere kitten (thank you to the admins for helping me navigate all that!) he is absolutely gorgeous and the breeder had other kittens that have went on to be title holders. He has an amazing disposition and I think he’d handle shows well. I however have literally no idea where to start🙃 I got on TICA and CFA to look at standards and get an idea of how shows would work, but I would love advice from people who do show! He is scheduled to be neutered and is 100% pet however our breeder gave us permission to show and included it on his TICA registration. Tax picture from our ride home the day we got him included!

Advice

We are picking up a bonded female pair from a local rescue on Saturday. They are approximately 8 years old and are retired breeders. They are very very scared and do not show typical behaviors for the breed. Any advice on properly acclimating them? They will have their own room, toys, bed caves, proper food and water fountain. Just want to be sure we are doing everything we can!

Paid per call firefighters

So I’ve been a volunteer firefighter for ten years. we have a 501C3 for our training association. We are technically paid per call so not 100% volunteers and not 100% career. Does this qualify for PSLF? I can’t find a solid answer

General estimate for build?

I have these blue prints however I’d like to make a few changes (making the laundry room a bit bigger, turning the area that would be stairs leading to a basement into a walk in pantry (might have to build that out a little), turning the formal dining room into a dog area with built in crates and food/water station, and adding a second bay to the garage) I’m in middle Tennessee and would have a 1-2 acre lot for it and would like a patio and pool off the back of the house we are about to apply for a construction loan and was wanting to know a general idea of what to put in for. Shingle roof, paved driveway, tankless water heater, concrete slab foundation, paver style patio. I’d estimate a little over 2,000 sq ft without the garage bays.

29/37 [FM4M]- couple close to Nashville TN

Sema to tirz switch?

Currently been on the max 2.4 dose of sema for 5 months I’ve lost no weight in 3 months so I’m thinking about switching to tirz at my refill time (next month) but when filling out my refill form I have no idea what dose to ask for on tirz as I don’t know the equivalent any insight?

CarPlay

I have a 2018 sport with a smaller touch screen radio everything I can see says it should have CarPlay but I can never get it to work. I’ve seen that maybe I need a software update but it’s $200. I’m thinking a wireless adapter will fix the issue but wanted to know if anyone else has tried this? The phone is an iPhone 13 with an Apple cord so that shouldn’t be the issue.

How do we request a refill?

I originally did a 3 month supply but switched to a competitor for the last 3 months (worst idea EVER) and now I’m not sure if I need to start over or ask for a refill somehow?
