when did hindu muslim tension begin severe in the Indian subcontinent?
we all know about religious politics and violence in this subcontinent but I'm curious, when did it really begin severe because during the 1857 revolt, the Mughal emperor was announced as an Indian king by the mutiny.
the series should've ended up with yuichi kissing shiho while lying on the bed
just finished up reading the manga. the ending was 10/10 but felt rushed. they could end it properly.
we still are not sure what the real "traitor" is or is yuichi really the good guy, probably we'd never know but i choose to believe in yuichi.
recommend me some stand up comedians based on these people i liked:
I'm pretty new to stand up. i have not watched so many comedians but I have tried some.
here are the ones I laughed most at:
abhishek upmanyu: this man is just funny. his skits made me laugh without using much cuss words.
manik mehna : bro is funny. initially i had doubts but he's op.
madhur virli : he's around my age so also relatable in age experience. i loved his papa and IIT dream video. I've just one issue with him, his topic is too repetitive. seems like every other video is about sex and girlfriend. initially i found it funny but it needs to be changed otherwise comedy is top tier.
kaviraj : controversial but based on comedy, top tier for Me but i don't completely agree with him on certain things.
boring for me : akash gupta ( found him below average), viswa ( just meh for me), bassi, zakir ( not slightly funny).
life feels dull & boring, do you guys feel the same?
I'm in my 3rd year and i live alone. my life feels very dull and boring nowadays. i know this is not specific to BTech completely but i don't know where to share. apart from studies and working out, i spend most of the day doing nothing, in idle state. college is over and it's summer vacation. life has gotten very serious lately. today i was surfing reddit in my empty time and looking at the old posts of subreddits i used to browse and noticed how different things are. earlier i used to be naive but curious and happy or atleast satisfied. doing whatever the fun was without much worries of the course of life. I'd watch anime, youtubers or browse reddit and feel joy. now reddit doesn't excite that much, it's also gotten so mainstream. youtube is no longer entertaining and I've pretty consumed all the creators i followed, movies and anime take so much time now. I'm in my 3rd year and friendship with my peers is pretty much dead or dying, apart from ocassionol contacts, not much contact with other people and i live alone too. there's also the anxiety of career and job that keeps creeping into me
how do i learn to be content and enjoy with my own self?
i have realised that I'm very judgemental of myself of doing something alone as if everyone is looking at me, staring at me or making judgement of me like I'm lone wolf, he's such a freak etc overthinking in my mind due to which i try to avoid being alone. i try to go after a group or person even when we've nothing in common or we can't enjoy/vibe together so i really want to know how do i become content with myself and stop caring what others think??
AITK for asking my friend to apologise because his another friend acted disrespectfully to me?
one of my friend invited me to go on a trip with him. he said he's accompanied by three other friends of him whom i am not familiar with. i said I'm up. when i boarded the train, man i realised how fucking insane one of his friend was. he was acting rudely and toxic to me for no reason, cursing at me randomly when i met him like half a day ago. i ignored him during the train journey. the next day we spent in an event after which we were to go out but this mf began bothering me again by name calling and agitating. i said, "batmizi mat kar nhi to 2 thappad laga dunga", after which he began mereko pitna hai tere se, tu peet na... consistently at one point I slapped, he removed his glasses saying tu maar na mereko, i slapped twice more and the entire metro crowd was glaring at us, he was again like tu maar, I'm ready,tu chutiya darr rha hai whatnot....i got so fed up because my entire day was well. he previously did this with another guy as i heard from his other friends so i didn't go out with them next day and i asked my friend to apologise because it was his responsibility to not let this shit happen to me. he invited me. he apologized and asked, what could i have done etc.
so guys was it right step? what ti expect ahead?
being poor in college is worse than being ugly
by poor i mean actual poor not middle class. I've come to this realisation after failing any attempt at attracting girls. i sometimes think I'm ugly but I'm neither fat nor bad looking. i look nerdy but I'm also a curious soul. the one thing that is worse than being ugly is being poor. you can't go out easily. when your friends go to cafe or shopping, u can't join them or go on solo. if you're ugly, you can join gym, do diet and dress better but being poor means you can do nothing. you can also not have access to all the things your peers take granted for like bike, cars, cabs, ordering food at anytime, chilling out in restaurant because you have to spend money wisely. you also have more pressure for getting a job, your family is more dependent upon you, you also have no connection to any corporate world realistically, you're just in your own room either studying or gooning. even if you manage to find a girl, you can't go with her on date or even outing with friends. people think you're lazy or disgusting for your look or fashion sense but in reality u can't buy expensive clothes or shoes.
edit : one major impact i forgot to mention how u don't fit in among your peers. people from rich household studying along u, they hangout in cafes or restraunt and you are stuck at home.
Name one film from your country that every person must watch once.
