Finally got one... dream since years

Finally was able to muster up and get one. My first ever car, and im so happy it got to be this one.

Planning to do lots and lots and lots of miles with this.

Do I really need to worry about oil starvation? Im not tracking it (maybe once) and not very regular spirited driving, more like daily commute (22M)

Any other suggestions and ideas welcome too! Not looking to add any performance mods rn, cause its my daily long commute.

Btw its the premium, but in my region premium doesnt have the duck tail for some reason, has the 18" wheels, heated seats etc.

Love it

Need PPF advice!

My friend is getting a black Tesla Model 3 and wants a full satin PPF. I'm also considering a Toyota GR86 and would likely do the same.

The pricing we've been quoted is all over the place, we've seen full-body satin PPF quotes ranging from around AED 3,000 all the way up to AED 18,000. One dealer-affiliated quote (like where im buying the car from) I received for the GR86 was around AED 17,000

For those who have actually had satin PPF done:

Which shop did you use? What film brand was installed?

How much should I expect it to cost actually?

Not necessarily looking for the cheapest option, but rather the best value and quality. A lot of the very low quotes make me wonder what corners are being cut.

Also, if i should option the PPF from the dealer and Include it in my car finance, or they're giving free ceramic coating and tint and just get that for now?

Appreciate any comments and advice guys

First Car as a young car enthusiast (22M, GR86 BRZ GTI)

Hey everyone!

Im looking to finally get my own first car. Till now we've had a CRV, Altima (taught me how to be an annoying driver) and a Passat (this one specifically is mine and im dailying right now). I've been into cars for a long time and I think this is the time to get an actual sporty, cool car by my own.

I've narrowed it down to:

Used Toyota GR 86 (New is insanely expensive): ~125K with 20K ish km, 2024, under warranty

New Subaru BRZ (Same car): ~145K with brembo brakes, surprisingly the EMI comes out almost the same as the above car, with interest rates etc

Used Golf GTI 2023 Top Trim: ~115K, 30K ish km, 2023, under VW agency warranty till 2028

My insurance estimates for the above are ranging from 3-6 K depending on the car.

Also, ive put in hours in sim racing, ik its not real driving, but im confident I can handle a sporty car, just fyi.

Since we already have other family cars, practicality should be fine in case I need more space I can take the CRV. This car will be mostly for me, dailying to my work, and intend to put a lot of km in it. Even now with the underpowered passat I love hoodling it around, so im obviously looking for a fun drive.

What do you guys think? Advice, owners of these cars, other car recommendations greatly appreciated.

PS: Financially, about a max of 3K per month with 5 year or 4.5K per month with 3 years financing is my budget, for the car itself. Ofc fuel maintenance etc is separate
