Remember Franklin?

Could this be Rosie’s old husband that she eventually killed or died in an extermination?

If so then that would imply that she is indeed a mortal soul like the rest.

This is of course if this didn’t get scrapped in the main show.

Which GTA Protagonists fit the boxes?

Here’s my personal ranking:

Claude and Tommy are both neutral evil.

CJ is true neutral.

Toni is neutral evil.

Victor is in between neutral good and true neutral.

Niko is true neutral but leans toward chaotic good at times.

Johnny is true neutral.

Luis is somewhere along the lines of chaotic good but more so true neutral.

Franklin and Michael are true neutral.

Trevor is chaotic neutral.

Lucia and Jason both seem true neutral but Lucia strikes as leaning a bit towards chaotic good.

The GTA Online players are all chaotic evil.

Chapter 5 is the most boring chapter in the series.

Poppy Playtime chapter 5 was a waste of time, I’m not exaggerating when I say that.

To start off, I’ve been a fan of this game for a long time and I’d still recommend it to a lot of people who haven’t played it, ever since the first chapter came out I was instantly hooked, same can be said for everyone else, even when it had it’s lows I still never gave up hope it could be something great, but now with the release of the fifth chapter my opinion on this series has been massively soured.

This chapter was literally nothing but complicated ahh puzzles and lore in the first half, and about 3 segments where you were actually in danger in the second half (on top of more dumbahh puzzles and fetch quests), it has Some good aspects, but it kind of gets overshadowed by all of the bad, and even with those good moments there’s nothing in it that would make me wanna go back and play through all of it again.

I’ve played all the other chapters and I can confidently say that chapter 5 has like the least replayability out of them all, yes I would go back and play chapter 1 the shortest one of them all and chapter 4 the buggiest one and most people’s least favorite before I’d go back and play through all of chapter 5.

And this may be a hot take but chapter 4 was better than 5 in my opinion, Chapter 4 arguably had the most amount of action in the series despite how sh*tty some of those segements were (the Baba Chops section), it also had two of my favorite characters in the series (The Doctor and Doey), and it at least had moments that’d make me go back and play it again, I sadly cannot say the same for Chapter 5.

It’s clear that the devs only wanted to make a chapter 6 cause money, and they had no idea what to do to justify them making a another chapter since this was intended to be the last one, so they just added in a bunch of filler puzzles that took up most of the gameplay and also didn’t know what to do to make them fun.

Almost everyone I seen play this game didn’t enjoy it and have even been turned off from the playing the next one, Markiplier and RDC quit it, almost everyone else is mad that chapter 5 wasn’t the last one, and most of this chapter is so bland that for the people I watched play it I Did not care to see they’re whole playthrough of it, and so I just skipped to the parts I wanted to see them react to, and I NEVER do that, that’s how much of a drag this game was, and for the parts I seen them react to some of them couldn’t care less, which is very telling.

The horror atmosphere was also a major stepdown from all the previous games, it’s too bright in a lot of areas and too futuristic looking for an abandoned factory from the 1900s, like this Lab looked more like a Resident Evil facility just less scary, and I know that was probably the point since this is where all the experiments took place but that doesn’t change they could’ve made it look more decrepit and destroyed looking since this place is abandoned and is the Prototype’s domain.

The boss fights were also pretty bad, even worse that last chapter even, this is partly because the Devs not only can’t up with interesting gameplay mechanics or chase sequences anymore but they can’t also can’t seem to make interesting bosses either, the last boss was a slight step up from them despite you having to die over and over to figure it out (like every other chase sequence in this chapter), and I do enjoy tunnel chase type fights, but on the other hand it also was very similar to the Hospital level boss fight in chapter 4 of Dark Deception, however that’s a topic for another post Imma make later on.

As for the ending, when I played it when it came out I already wasn’t feeling it cause I knew it was gonna end on a cliffhanger meaning another chapter, but the reveal of the Doctor coming back was initially the only thing that had me hyped for the next one cause One; The Doctor is my favorite villain in the series, even more than the Prototype tbh, I like The Prototype but I prefer pure evil villains like the Doctor more lately cause that whole victim antagonist thing has been getting pretty dragged lately especially in this game. And Two; it’s inevitable at this point that the devs are gonna make him the final boss and shaft the Prototype next chapter, like they already went and made the Prototype the face and title of this chapter and I don’t see them doing that again, they only ever make their characters the face of the chapter if they’re the main focus or at least the final boss, and since the Doctor wasn’t the face of chapter 4 it’s likely he’ll be it for chapter 6, and he’ll betray us and pull some Aizen level plan that’ll make him the endgame villain (like I don’t believe for a second they’ll make someone as evil as Dr. Sawyer an ally), at first I was down for that but now 5 months later I’m not caring as much about this game anymore to be as hyped for that.

It also doesn’t change the fact that despite my favoritism of the Doctor this cliffhanger was two packs of ahh cheeks, the worst one in the whole series even, like most of the people I seen play this chapter didn’t remember who the Doctor was, and that’s partly because of how fast he was killed off in the last game, but more so that there was next to no build up to it throughout this whole chapter, which made it feel realy undeserved and more like fan service (Which is even more evident cause they made Pianosauras an easter egg).

The storytelling is also getting pretty sh*t, like what went from a pretty grounded FNAF type story quickly lost it’s grasp on the plot 5 games in at an attempt to drag it out to a 6th one, the plot of this chapter was basically to find a backup plan to kill the Prototype (basically the same as the last one where Poppy tried to blow him up before they said he can regenerate, only for him to get blown up in this chapter just for him to not be affected, bit of a plot hole but ok), this chapter quickly sidelines that whole objective for the majority of it until the end where you’ll have forgotten what you were even supposed to be doing, the new characters appeared and immediately either died or never showed up again after not really helping you do anything, they brought up toys having escaped the factory and went we don’t even know where, some crucial bit of lore about the Prototype is hidden behind a box you would have to go out of your way to find, and don’t even get me started on the Protagonist who’s name we don’t know, hasn’t said one peep, and we don’t know exactly why they’re here which was askd by the Doctor in chapter 4, Again, this is 5 GAMES IN, and we don’t know nothing about who we’re playing as. And now apparently there’s gonna be a goddamn underground city, I don’t know how they could explain this the context of the lore or make it make sense whatsoever, and the concept of this wouldn’t be too bad for a story that’s not as grounded as this one, they already introduced a character who’s a brain in a jar controlling the whole the factory, if that wasn’t unrealistic enough they also introduced a machine that shows you the memories of other people, and whatever cloning process the Doctor brought up in one of the notes, and then they did the cliche where the main character receives a fatal blow that should’ve killed him but survives because the main villain for some reason decided to drop him in the substance that would revive him, like at this point just introduce ghosts or a virus or sum.

And there’s also the fanbase that meatrides the series no matter what, they’ll see people criticize this series or just chapter 5 and they’ll go to lengths bigger than this factory to defend it, they sh*tted on Markiplier and Caseoh for giving their opinions on this game, like I’ve seen posts asking what chapter was your favorite between 1-5 and most of them voted chapter 5, Y’all n****s do like chapter 5 more than y’all like chapter 3, stop the larping, I know this is probably recency bias but still.

All in all, this chapter was a f**king mess, it was. And I’m kind of turned off from this series as a whole because of it, most people I’ve seen feel the same way, and it also didn’t help that it released right before RE9 which absolutely didn’t give it time to digest lmao, I don’t care about chapter 6 as much anymore, is this partly because we’ve yet to get a trailer for it? Kind of, but since chapter 4 these trailers aswell as the ARGs haven’t really done anything crazy to get me as hyped for the game as they used to, I’m too focused on other games like Bendy and Dark Deception and GTA 6, and that’s another thing GTA 6 will be out before ya’ll know if Kissy Missy and Huggy are dead or not.

Imma make another post tomorrow or later on about this game as a whole regarding another topic Imma probably get crucified for but I could care less, that’s it for now tho.

Can anyone tell me why Homelander wanted abortions banned?

Why would he give a single shit about abortion bans, it’s just SO out of line with his character.

And then they brought up him banning porn in episode 5 like that shit came outta nowhere, why tf does the guy who literally SA someone and jerked off on top of a building give a shit about banning porn idk.

Vox is everything that Alastor isn’t.

This may be a hot take but Vox is better than Alastor.

Vox fits the role of the strongest more so than Alastor does. Vox built all of his power from the ground up and was considered an equal by Alastor before he ever even formed the Vees, he’s gained the most successful empire hell and became a bigger influential figure than Alastor, Charlie and even Lucifer, he was so easily able to rally every sinner in hell to fight for him with or without his hypnotic abilities, and made all of heaven shit bricks, and to top it all off even tho Alastor mocked him for this, he has allies (who are despicable overlords) that actually care about him, meanwhile Alastor ironically doesn’t have anyone who truly gives a shit about him other than Niffty. Vox is essentially the real strongest sinner aswell the symbol of everything Alastor claims to be and ironically used to view Alastor otherwise.

Alastor on the other hand nothing of his is actually his. All of his power comes from a deal he made before he got to hell, and the reason he’s free from that deal is because of others he made to break out, were it not for all of that he would be nothing, just an ordinary sinner like the ones he torments, the way he died in life was anticlimactic for whoever he was feeling like when he made that deal, he lost the majority of his powers because he decided to engage in a 1v1 with an archangel with no angelic weapons and fled like a coward after getting embarrassed, this shows that the moment his back is against the wall he’s quick to run away and abandon everyone depending on him. These are all traits that show Alastor be a fraudulent manipulator, but this also makes him fit the role of a demon more than anyone, and that’s because of his trickery, cheating and snake like nature.

As much as Alastor mocks Vox for being powerless without the help of others, it’s just a projection from him as he’d be even less than nothing without outside help, it’s just he’s less obvious with it than Vox is.

Am I the only one who’s genuinely horrified of what this scene is gonna look like?

The Boys has almost never held back on any of the gore ever, and Antony Starr said the worst thing Homelander has EVER done has yet to be come.

I haven’t read the leaks for ep 8 yet but this most certainly was not a throwaway line.
