Why do a lot of religions have a "Narcissistic God" trope?

(This isnt meant to insult any religious groups)

I noticed patterns in a lot of the world's religions like the Abrahamic faiths (islam, judaism, christianity) and even ancient pagan faiths etc that God/Gods are usually depicted as strong beings that demand worship, obedience, loyalty, moral conformity, and sometimes punishment for disbelief. From a modern secular psychological lens, especially in cultures that value individual autonomy, those traits resemble narcissism. and usually they depict God(s) as a petty easy to anger being(S). pretty much every human religion has some form of "sacrifice" to God(s) to appease them, and sometimes that anger is weaponized by people of power (priests, clerics, etc) for their agenda. i just wanna know how this trope started

If hypocrisy was a server it would be r/UAE

This is just the tip of the iceberg but why are there so many irgcc supporters that take things out of context to justify attacks on the uae? Aren’t yall living there anyways ?
