1980s steel MTB frame upgraded to a gravel bike for one cool high schooler .

Local brand based out of Alberta , this Tech Nova is fun to ride around town. What do you think of the components ?

How long after a saddle sore do you start riding?

I got one yesterday so painful because my seat was lowered too low by a family member and I rode it for 8km to work. Seething pain and white bump where my leg meets my rear.

However I need to cycle to get back to work this week but cannot imagine even looking at a bike for weeks.

Any experiences with saddle sores?

I don’t wear kits (I was in cotton sweatpants, no undies) but now I’m considering specific cycling shorts.

Looking for bomb proof tires for this steel bike. I get a lot of flats and I’m riding urban, downtown streets with hella construction. Any suggestions? What tires do you run for your commute?
